2,000: That is a conservative count of Vols fans at the game. This should be a sign to the AD that fans are fed up and not travelling as in years past.

Bama Fans: No issues with anyone. Just the constant “Roll Ride” as we were walking to the stadium and in the stadium. The fans were cordial. Was invited to a few tailgates as we walked to the stadium form parking and stopped at a few and enjoyed some good food, cold beer, decent conversation and some slight ribbing about Butch.

Overall, outside of the beat down we took during the game, I had a really good experience for my first visit to Bryant Denny Stadium.

When the vols are good, they pack bryant-denny with 10,000 fans. They suck now, and fans will not spend big money to travel. Administrators and athletic fatcats get comped hotels, meals, booze, and pricey tickets---they will show up!!

When the Vols are good, we pack a lot of places.

I've been to Bryant-Denny several times. Always a pleasant experience and very welcoming. It's the sidewalk Alabubba fans that are the worst.

I never have a bad experience in Tuscaloosa. Very knowledgeable fans and very friendly. You get the occasional drunk that comes around like anywhere else but it's easy to be nice when your whipping every bodies ass.

Never been to BD but that seems to be the case with the away games that I've been to. The drunks hanging around outside the stadium are always jerks but the actual paying fans are usually ok.

Thanks for the compliments! As some stated earlier, we all have those "fans" that give our fanbases bad reps. Last year was my first trip to Knoxville and the fans as a whole were cordial.

I will say this, be prepared when the LSwho Tigahs come to town. They can tailgate but they are damn awful about picking up after themselves.

LSU fans are fun, but definitely trashy. Never had an issue with Bama or Florida fans. Grorgia’s and Miami’s are the worst I’ve encountered.

LSU fans are entertaining.

Most are just having fun but when they get on the swamp water to hard they get rowdy.

Best fight I ever saw in Neyland was a nite game vs LSU.

Drunk took a swing at a cop after he had spilled his drink on a UT fan in front of him and started a scuffle.

If he had teeth he lost a few when his face stopped his fall on the steps, with a forearm applying the force.

Awesome!

We had a great experience outside of the score. We visited the Bryant Museum and wished UT would have a Neyland museum. No reason not to do this. The old football stuff was really cool to see.

One guy outside of the stadium was a little obnoxious but we just put our head down and kept walking. Did not look like a paying fan either. Stopped at tailgates and everyone was nice and talked football.

Nice campus.

Too much history NOT to have a museum! Word is here, that the Powers that Be are looking to relocate and enlarge the Bryant Museum. The large grassy lot on the North end of the stadium is supposedly the site. The Bryant Museum is way too small and cramped.

I hope your administration gets things straightened out and makes a good hire. The SEC is better when UT is better. The Third Saturday In October is definitely better!!
