I was just curious to see which game you guys are more interested in seeing (watching on tv or going to live). First is WKU which will be the debut of the new team. And the second game being UCLA which is a more well rounded opponent IMO. I was thinking of going to the WKU game but after thinking about it for awhile I've decided I'm going to go to the UCLA game. Last time I went to a game and we were playing a team from california was back a couple years ago when we hosted CAL. And THAT was an amazing game :dance2:

both games will have a special atmosphere, especially with the new era underway. if you could only go to one though, i would pick ucla, the selling points being: it's a night game and the revenge factor

Being that Kiffin and O are former USC coaches, does anyone think they want to run up the score on UCLA if they can? Or do you think that it doesn't matter and they just want to have good showing and win?

I'm going to the UCLA game... WKU would be fun just because its the first game of the season, first game of the Lane Kiffin era, etc... but its probably going to be a crappy noon kickoff, hot, and its hard to get as excited for a no-name opponent.

I'm looking for some revenge against UCLA, even though they are partially responsible for bringing some life back to our program.

If I was going to pick one it would be the UCLA game...Off with their heads!....I don't want to just beat them, I want us to DEMOLISH them...That game last year still makes me ill to think about.

The UCLA game will be special, and should be the one to attend. WKU will be a good start to the season that I will enjoy at home.

Attending the WKU game instead of paying for the PPV and watching the UCLA game which will probably be a National audience and will likely have some very cool pre-game things and seeing replays, up close shots of the staff, etc will be fun.

When we play UCLA, I really hope our players and coaches aren't caught looking ahead to the following week's huge Florida matchup. That would be a disaster to lose to UCLA two years in a row, especially since we owe them payback big time after last year's debacle at the Rose Bowl. I went to the UCLA game last year and felt nauseous walking out of the stadium to fireworks and Neuheisel's post-game speech to the entire stadium about the new era, etc. Winning the UCLA game is critical.

Me thinks it may be just a bit premature for us to talk about running the score up on anyone. Wishful thinking can run into the realm of the presposterous..

For now, and until the first week in January, let's just talk about winning... Then we can talk about running the score up pn one of the Big 10 Teams in a BCS Bowl.

2-0 would be great even if only skin-of-teeth close. But I do hope they play a lot of bench in that first game so our younger players will have a bit of game experience rather than none.

WE should beat both but I would love to really beat UCLA, to a pulp, just announce our revival....... and now Hat will attack me.

I would have to agree with this statement.
