To put this even further in perspective…here are our road wins over top 25 opponents.

2003 - Florida, Miami
2004 - Georgia
2005 - LSU
2006 - Georgia
2016 - Georgia
2018 - Auburn
2021 - Kentucky

Even when you include home victories over top 25 teams…the list is only slightly better.

Enjoy the win over Pitt and hope it’s not another 19 years for an out of conference road victory over a top 25 team.

**Edited to remove Kentucky in 2018…that was a home game

Well we don't play a lot of out of conference teams on the road because we're loading up on home game cupcakes, so not many chances to pull it off.

Did it rain that game?
I kind of remember it being rainy, but I don't know for sure. What's crazy is how good Miami had been up until that point. Tennessee was the first visiting team to win at the Orange Bowl in 4 years. It was also the first time Miami had failed to score a touchdown at home since 1984. Even stranger, the Vols won in spite of putting up just 170 yards of offense (81 passing, 89 rushing).
