I've never been to a UT game.

Today I bought tickets to the UT Mizzou Game.

I'm taking my wife and was hoping ya'll could help me out about the best place to eat, parking, things like that.

Thanks for any input. :)

Virgins to the left.....non-virgins to the right.

Welcome aboard!

The Long Branch Saloon is great for eating. And in case we are attacked pre-game, you can hide under the urinal there. Ain't no one ever hit it yet...

I personally LOVE the wings at half barrel. Losers had good wings too but they are long gone.

Lots of parking options, I always park in the Children's parking garage. It's only $10, and it's a donation to children's childhood cancer fund. Can't ask for anything better to spend $10 on to park.

As far as food, there's lots of options. We enjoy going several hours early and walking the campus and enjoying the scenery. Walk the strip and eat wherever suits your fancy, there's a lot of options.

Walk through the tailgate area's and meet several other Vol fans. Make sure you line up early so you get a good view of the Vol Walk. I usually try to setup right across from the stairs by Lot 9 parking. The pep band plays from the stairs and then the players come right past and will high 5 you.

The stadium opens 2 hours prior to kickoff, or right after the Vol Walk and Band pass by. 1.5 hours prior you can watch players warmup and even get some autographs if interested.

The most important thing is to have fun, enjoy yourself, and to be loud in support of our Vols!

Not a TRUE fan...IMO! JK! JK! You will absolutely love it, there is nothing else that compares to it, and I've been to many other stadiums! If you're like me, once the band comes out for the pre-game, you'll have chill bumps and a feeling of euphoria until the kick-off! Enjoy it!

Blackened burger and beer at Copper Cellar. Just get there early and park behind the strip somewhere. Crash a couple of tailgates after the Vol walk.

Calhoun's will be packed, but if you can get in there great ribs and BBQ and great atmosphere. Dont miss the Volwalk and then straight to "The Hill" for the POTSB. Most of the time i park in the Garage at FtSanders, its pretty close to the strip. Sometimes its best to show up with no plans and just walk, people watch, meet other Vol Fans and visiting fans, theres plenty to eat so just pick a spot and give it a try. Arrive early enough to take it all in and not be rushed, the gameday experience, especially your first time will be awesome. The campus is beautiful this time of year.

Best place to sit is on your butt.

Best place to eat is with your mouth. Pay no attention to the guys supposedly using their other end for enema-ing alcohol.

Best place to park, well in my view the Smokey Mountains National Park, with Yosemite being a close second.

Best place to things like that, well, being married you should you where to find a thing.

Seriously guy, the folks here have helped me the same way you're asking. they'll lead you right as they did me. Just had to have a bit of fun with your post.

Well, we usually go to the Number 6 dance. We need a photo of wife before we can answer any more questions. Board rules

Anytime, I'm a VFL lady! However, my husband may not like me hanging out with random guys :) even if they are Vol fans lol

LOL, my wife would probably object also. We are VFL and long time season tix holders. You seem to have a better game experience than we do, just trying to step up our game. :good!:
