I agree. I've been to 20+ games now and been to almost all of the SEC stadiums. Neyland is home.

Kentucky in 1988. I was 6 years old. We had lost our first 6 games in a row and won our last 5 in a row. That setup our next year as we went 10-1 with just one loss to Alabama.

1967 UT vs. Ga Tech. The old wramblin wreck car running around the stadium was cool, but nothing compared to seeing the Vols' Dewey Warren, Hacksaw Reynolds, Richmond Flowers and a host of others kick the Yellow Jackets outta town!

VFL at from that moment.

My first time seeing the Big Orange was the 1966 Gator Bowl when we beat Larry Csonka, Floyd Little and Syracuse, 18-12.

My first game in Neyland was in 1974, my freshman year at UT, and that epic 17-17 tie vs. UCLA when Condredge Holloway came back from the hospital to lead the Vols to the tie. i was in the POTS and absolutely loved the seats we had in those days, about the 30-yard line on the east side.

Me and my 13yr old daughter are attending our first game Saturday! I hope this starts a tradition for us :) I've been watching the Vols on tv for years, can't wait to be there in person in Neyland Stadium!

Went to numerous games through the mid 90's, was pretty young to have a vivid memory of them though. 1998 Florida was my first vivid memory of a game in Neyland and that was the first season I got to attend every game. What a way to start my Neyland going experience.

1999 Notre Dame. Decided to stop being a slack ass and worked to transfer to UT. Amazing how the gathering of so many people can have such an impact on your life.

Weezer got you thinking of this? how so? serious question.

We were posting in another thread about Rick Flair starting the wooo in Rocky top jk. And how hulk Hogan had been at a game in the 90s. So it lead to a trip down memory lane in my shallow mind.

Where is Weezer? Haven't heard from him yet.
Also missing is DD4ME and HM.

Sept. 16, 1972, we beat Penn State 28-21. I don't remember much of it as I wasn't quite 4 months old.

1990 Alambama 9 Tennesse 6. Hated to lose, but I've been hooked ever since. My dad took me as an early 15th birthday present.

The first game I went to was Utah in '78 or '79.

The first one I remember was Southern Cal in 1980.

My first away game was Bama in 1987.
