TY I was thinking of that.Park at the civic auditorium and rise a bus/van 10$ per person. The walk from the stop to stadium is from cumberland at Fulmer way and about 1/2 mike to gate 21. I have seen busses that get closer so if he has a disabled tag he might be able to use one of those. Another option would be joyride, a gas golf cart ride share. It’s expensive on game day but worth it if you can’t walk that far. Hope this helps
My oldest son just graduated in May. My boys were roomates. My youngest LOVES Gus's and took me in there a couple of times. I was OK with it. My oldest witnessed him, late night, getting annoyed at drunk college kids and upping the price on sandwiches. So my oldest didn't like that. Me: I get it. It probably gets old. I am just paraphrasing my kids conversation. Maybe the guys are so hammered they don't even notice the price difference. BTW, I thought it had good atmosphere. Would go back.I began buying beer at Gus’s the day I arrived on campus. That may have been where we got beer during summer orientation. I was there hammered plenty, one late night I passed out on the table for a couple of hours and he just let me be.
Thank youThey got through gate 21 but they stop to salute the hill first. The March starts 1 hour 40 mins before kick. Here is the updated game day info.

We were going to go to the mountains, but was told there was a big car show that congested things. Thank you.Have fun in Knoxville! Just a few breakfast ideas:
Breakfast: French Market / Pete's Coffee Shop / this is the one that I am waiting to try and people rave about: Olibea
I would say hit the mountains but they are expected to close parts of it due to the weather. Not sure if you could squeak a visit in or not. If you can, Tremont is gorgeous as is Cades Cove. Check for closures here: GSMNP Closures
We were right behind the players family and recruits. The fencing did cause a little issue with view closer to that endzone. A couple of rows up would have been better. Lesson learned.Y10 is in the North end zone - depends on how high up your seats are as to the quality of the view.
And - will also suggest Gus' Good Times Deli - the best steamed sandwich around (Firehouse's is a poor substitute)
Thank you. We ended up watching from Gate 20. Heard the band, but didn't see themThe Vol Walk normally starts two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff. The Vol Walk starts on Volunteer Blvd at Circle Park. It proceeds down Peyton Manning Pass and then goes left onto Phillip Fulmer Way and goes to Gate 21A of Neyland stadium.
I wish we could have taken in all of that. Unfortunately, with a 17 hour drive to and from, we were pretty limited on time. I will say, with in 5 hours of being in Knoxville my wife and I were discussing moving there. Great town.Market Square is a must. Tupelo Honey is probably the most popular restaurant there (and you can leave and walk around Market Square while you wait for a table. There’s usually live music and lots of shops to explore), and Coolato Gelato is a great dessert place near there on Gay Street. Also a nice theater on the same steeet if you stay the whole day. There’s parking available on campus, but it’s often busy/expensive. Might be better to just find parking downtown (Locust Garage is the one I use to go downtown) and walk, it’s not very far. There is a thing called Volunteer Village in front of the humanities building that is fun for families, Smokey usually makes an appearance.
I hope you and your family have a great time! Go Vols!
