Any idea with a noon kickoff, when the band goes into the stadium? Also, skip Tupelo Honey, it’s pricey with long waits and not really all that good. Myrtles Chicken and Beer is good, sweet Ps bbq, Copper Cellar but go downstairs, the atmosphere at Calhoun’s on the river is legit, downtown grill and brewery is a good atmosphere as well and has decent prices, Stock and Barrel has good food according to most but is pricey for burgers, see the band go into the stadium is a must then go in for the pregame which usually starts 15 min prior to kickoff.

They got through gate 21 but they stop to salute the hill first. The March starts 1 hour 40 mins before kick. Here is the updated game day info. What gate do they go through?
Don't go into Gus's drunk, He makes up what you owe at the cash register and suddenly your food is more expensive if you are inebriated. (That's what my student son tells me). Might be different on game day.
I'd come prepared to walk quite a bit. I personally prefer eating in market square , walking the river to the stadium and taking in the vol walk each game.
Wear orange. Buy some overpriced stadium food. Have fun
Park at the civic auditorium and rise a bus/van 10$ per person. The walk from the stop to stadium is from cumberland at Fulmer way and about 1/2 mike to gate 21. I have seen busses that get closer so if he has a disabled tag he might be able to use one of those. Another option would be joyride, a gas golf cart ride share. It’s expensive on game day but worth it if you can’t walk that far. Hope this helpsMy friend and I are coming down for the game. It is something we have been doing since 1968, Back in the old days we would park at the old bus station on Gay St. and walk. Now we are parking on 17th St. way down under the overpass, We always make 3-5 games per year. This year he has a bum knee and is looking forward to knee replacement and cannot walk very far. Where is the best place to catch transport to and from stadium. Thanks I advance.
