I humbly submit this picture, besmirched as it may be by my wife's unfortunate addiction to filters, for your consideration. I apologize for only one of my eyes knowing where the camera happened to be. The California sun had fried my brain, and I only had the wherewithal to tell one of them where to focus.

Didn't know Nev from Catfish was on here...

Holiday Inn best deal for location, price, and comfort. My family and I stayed there for the 1997 orange/white game. Met broadcaster Keith Jackson in the lobby as we were checking in. Whoa nelley!

You can also catch the baseball game that evening. I think they are playing South Carolina and it's at 4:00. Should be a good game!

To actually answer the original question: try Air BnB Knoxville. You can get some really cool places for a great price.

For example, here is a houseboat right off of downtown that you can stay in, by yourself, for 60 bucks per night. It's an easy walk to everything fun, you'll have privacy, and beautiful scenery.

I do like staying on the river,of course a couple of garbage bags (encase it rains) and some sleeping bags would be the cheap way to go, some hot dogs and baloney sandwiches and you will be set to go :)

Any of the downtown hotels will treat you right. Please ignore the snarky posts that hijacked your thread...they do not represent volnation and most commonly throw around vfl like they're in some high school gang. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR VOLS!!!!

Good to hear. Now, do yourself a favor and get tickets to Oklahoma.
