Wait, are we trying to show OP all the beautiful people he gets to hang out with at the O&W game? Or are we having a who is the cutest dude on VN contest?

I apologize for only one of my eyes knowing where the camera happened to be. The California sun had fried my brain, and I only had the wherewithal to tell one of them where to focus.

If volguys wife is at least kinda hot, he'll have more fun in that hotel room than he will at the O&W game....that's all I'm sayin.

More importantly, I need a good reason from volguy as to why he's never been to a game at the greatest place on earth. Volguy.......?

I like staying at the Downtown Hilton on the executive suite floor - something cannot afford during regular football season. FYI looks like most nice Knoxville Hotels are requiring 2 night minimum stay for high profile UT home games this Fall. Guess that's the price for having a winning record in a few years.

I'm personally a big fan of the Oliver Hotel in Market Square. Granted, they are not cheap (at least $200/night during the week, ~$275 on the weekends), but it's a great little place.

Jus all kinds of personal reasons....Ive been to vol games but jus not been able to make it up there

It's actually not a bad idea making the O&W Game one's first Neyland experience. You figure out how to get to the stadium, parking, gates, etc., with a relatively light crowd and atmosphere.

OP, be sure to visit the veterans cemetery and pay homage at The General's grave while you're in town.

I am staying at the crown. Do you think the players will stay there like they do on regular games the night before? That would be great if they did.

Lots of love for night games here. Forgive me, but there's nothing better than a packed house on a beautiful day. Really brings out the extension cord UT orange.

Well, I must be a foolish aging man. My wife & I are driving 6 hours to come to the O & W. We come for the fun of the weekend, eat at favorite restaurants, experience the stadium b4 a long hot summer, and generally enjoy the area as a couple of alums. The game, well it is fun to see a few of the new guys & generally see the O &W on the field. We will then be counting down till Nashville and all of the home games.:hi:
