First time going to Auburn

Momma goldburgs for sandwiches, definitely get the nachos, Louis' chicken is really good. The bars are small and crammed full of frat boys. Little Italy is a good pizza place down town. They tailgate (a lot) and drink heavily other than that it ain't really anything special.

Going to Auburn for the first time too. Looking forward to #8 of SEC stadiums. Only exciting one left on the list will be LSU, I believe.

Went down there for the Auburn/LSU game two years ago, which happened to be Les Miles' last game. Thought the town was nice, campus and stadium even nicer, and people were friendly. I came away pretty impressed by the whole gameday experience. My wife and I ate at a BBQ place close to the stadium called Moes Original BBQ which was decent. Tickets were just dirt cheap because both teams had a rough start to the season IIRC. I'd go again Saturday but I have a 1 month old son now.

Overall, highly recommend going to Auburn for a game.

Their campus is nothing special. Its amoung the worst in the sec, ive been to nearly all of them.
Pretty good food though. Momna goldbergs is a sandwich show that is pretty good, its a classic there. If you want something a little better than that try Acre, or Amsterdam Cafe.
Have fun and hopefully there isnt a good vibe after the game there.
They've actually been ranked above us in the polls I've seen as far as game day experience in the SEC that includes other activities such as tail gating. Us and Auburn are usually placed mid tier. LSU number 1 followed by Florida, bama, Georgia and A&M in no particular order. I hope to make an LSU night game soon

Only time I have been was for the revenge game in ‘86. That was an ugly game.

Had fun though.

Best advice I can give is to take Tiger Transit to and from the game. You can get on at Auburn Mall or Tiger Town shopping center. It's free also...

Agree with this. Just because I'm a VOL fan doesn't mean I can't appreciate other schools and their traditions.

Have been many times for UT-AU football games, and since I live in B'ham now and have kids, several events kids taking part in are held there. Nice campus and the stadium is very nice also. Anything around Toomer's Corner for the most part is cool. Lots of eateries around there and within walking distance.
