First steps in right direction....

OH I am sorry....I didn't realize you had a high profile, high pressured job and you would know what it would feel like to be in MH's shoes.......but please tell us more Mr. asinine
I'll just address the high pressured part.I can't feel sorry for a guy who has millions of dollars invested , able to retire now if he wanted, compare that to John Doe out there working himself to death in some factory to support his family and put bread on the table, he's the under real pressure, not Phil, he's under pride pressure, ego pressure or whatever keeps him there.I think all of Coach Fulmer's children are old enough to support themselves also.

Fulmer is staying sooooooooo if he wants to really turn this around like he said tonight:

He has to get rid of Chavis, Dline coach and secondary coach....

Hire a special teams coach..........

Just for starters.....what else guys needs to happen??

I think we are going to be better off without Ainge.....whether it is JC or not next year!!

This is a positive thread....we are stuck with CPF, so we might as well make it positive and God forbid to have a lil fun on here!!

he cannot turn it around he isn't good enough. 0% chance.

My thought is if Fulmer does fire one or more of his coordinators and position coaches, how would he be able to get a top notch coordinator or position coach to come to UT with him being a lame duck coach who could possibly lose his job next season? Would a first class coach really come to Knoxville knowing he could be out of job a year later? To me that may be the ultimate reason why Fulmer may have to go.

He would come knowing that he would be the leader for the job when Fulmer got the ax

we have already fired one coordinator and will find out how big a mistake that was when we play KY.

He had the chance to go after a top notch coordinator 2 years ago when RS fell on the sword for him, and he chose to play it safe instead. Why would any of us think he would do things differently if he were to replace Chavis?

I'm not sure there are any old quality defensive coaches that have been on Fulmer's staff that are available the way Cutcliffe were. Maybe Rodney Garner would make a move, but I'm not sure outside of Garner there are anymore 90's era defensive coaches lurking around...

I don't know if Fulmer is going to get fired or not....it appears to me that just because there is rumbling on this board there has been no indication that MH is even looking for a coach.....I have seen sportswriters say he is done but then turn right around and say there is noone out there that could fill CPF shoes.....So I am just guessing that he is not going to get fired...just looks to me like the University isn't as disgusted with Fulmer as the people on here....

One or more of the Def.'s coaches need to go(Slade and/or Caldwell. What about Tyrone Nix at S.Carolina?
