Thanks Auburn!

Anyone know when the last time Tennessee sat atop the regular season standings?

Does Auburn hold the tiebreaker or does that even matter?

The way I understand, it matters for tournament seeding but not for the regular season conference title. There is no tiebreaker for the regular season, so if both finish with identical records we would share the regular season crown with Auburn.

Oh man, Thompson-Boling is going to be absolutely lit Saturday. Playing for at worst a share of the regular season championship -- not too shabby for the 13th best team in the SEC.

Rather play UGA than USC this Saturday. Double bye is pure gold! This team went 0-2 in the SEC, my goodness!

Now all that stands between us and the championship crown is avenging this season's earlier loss to Georgia.

Playing for a championship is motivation to do it!

Congratulations. Really hope Vol fans, especially the ones who generally don't follow basketball can get behind and support this team. Incredible season.

They should get behind this team. There's not going to be a lot to cheer about this fall. We're a basketball school now!

Going for an SEC regular title Saturday is awesome. Georgia stands in the way we lost down there time to beat the Dogs.

I am one of these. Basketball just isn't my sport of choice, but damn is it exciting now. Full support, seasons like this don't happen every year.

In MBB, I believe the last full day would be 1/2/2017 at 1-0 after defeating aTm (12/29/2016) in the opening game and before losing to Arky on 1/3/2017.

You're probably correct. That question didn't quite come out the way I thought it would. lol

At the end of 2008 season I believe.

I pulled up all the years (8) in which Tennessee won the SEC regular season conference championship, for those, like me, who were curious.
