First offensive play of the Outback

1. A dive by Foster for 2 yds. or...

2. A short flip out to Foster (the safety valve) for 2 yds. or...

3. A quick sideline pass to the WR for 2 yds.

Take your pick.

But I'd like to see Ainge hit Taylor on an 80-yd fly route for a TD.

Single back formation, briscoe comes in motion from right to left, stops behind the tackle, Ainge takes snap hands off to Foster who twists and turns for a stunning...2yds. We really fooled em' with that one!

Put Jones at RB with Ainge at QB. Direct snap to Jones who fakes a drawplay, then throws to Ainge who slipped outside. Ainge throws long to whoever is open.

First time we get a 2nd and real short:
Have Jones at WR, give him ball on a reverse after fake to Foster up the middle. Jones has the option of running or passing to TE who slipped out.

These are the kinds of plays that you put in your offense when you recruit talent like Tennessee does. Why have we put up with the conservative, stubborn playcalling and coaching that we have had to watch over the past few years? It doesn't seem like rocket science to try some plays like this occasionally. This is the reason that I want a new head coach on the hill.

Stupid question but, does the clock start when the ball is placed on the line even after a kick off, or does it have to be played first?

If Cut is gone and trooper is calling the game...

then a hand off to Foster, off right tackle, who hits the line quick then chest bumps the first would-be tackler.

Yeah....lame.

After the kick off, the clock stops when the player is tackled, then starts again when the ball is snapped by the center. :eek:k:

I got it, first play from offense...a quick kick, pin em inside the 5 and let the D set the tone. It's an old Johnnie Majors trick.:shhh:

First play: Bullwinkle J. Moose hits Rocky the Flying Squirrel on the "Alley-oomph". Six points.

A play involving not less than 13 reverses and throw backs until Wis D is throwing up beer and brats, so we can just walk into the CHECKERBOARDS.
