Since there is nothing more we can do but sit and stress until Wednesday evening I figured why not get started now on the what if's of 2012.

Those in the know who do we believe will be our first commit for this class?

How soon do we anticipate getting a verbal or two for that class? Seems like it is time something should be happening here. The Bama, UF's, Ut Juniors of the world already have multiples...

Texas will always be there because the kids either commit at the Jr day or find somewhere else to play.

At least thats the way it was explained to me..

We got one on NSD from Smith I believe so anytime is possible.

I know this will be asked 100 times but oh well. How many scholarships are there for 2012? Scout.com had a chart that showed this but I dont see it. I know its 85 total per team. Im wondering if 2012 will be a smaller class since theres not alot of seniors.

I think someone said there were like 17 seniors for next year so you would assume it will be a smaller class. However, there is almost always turnover and attrition. Some of this year's freshmen may not qualify, etc., etc.

It's really too early to tell because of those factors you can't control (i.e. Oku leaving), but we should have a good idea after next season.

But aren't we going to still be well below the 85 scholarship limit going into this coming year? I bet we'll still have room for 20 + recruits.

We will likely sign the full 25 next year or atleast really close. Depends on how we finish this year and the attrition.

I thought the parents committed for the kids at the time of conception in Texas... No?
