First of all, it's great to be able to put this in the football forum and not the recruiting forum.

But Palardy is one of my new favorite vols. His interview on Basilio's site is terrific (I'm not sure I'm aloud to link it, so I won't). He is remarkably humble, but confident as well. And this kid is going to BLEED orange, he understands what UT football is about. He sounds like a good person and he's a competitor as well.

It is sooo very great to be a Tennessee Vol.

My favorite new player. You never appreciate a good kicker, until you need one.

i watched him in a game on espn this year and for the first time in my life, i was giddy over a kicker.

It's not his interviewing skills that impressed me.

The guy kicks the air out of the football.

Our class ranking should be higher simply because of how valuable Palardy is to the team. Its just because he's a kicker that the signing isn't as flashy,

haha he has sh** for interviewing skills. I love the fact that he was so nervous and humble (REAL) in the interview, unlike the fork tongued snake that is Queffin.

I hope he can put kick offs through the EZ. What a weapon!!!!!! Opponents start from the 20 instead of the 40. THAT will make your defense better.

Him and Milton (maybe Meline too) are two guys in this class that are vastly underrated and yet will have a MAJOR impact in UT's next 3-4 seasons, IMHO.

If those guys were playing for us this season (assuming Milton would get some serious playing time), it's a completely different one, IMHO.

I honestly can't think of anybody else I've ever wanted more than this kid. The need is now. His time is now. It's a match made in football heaven.

Palardy is a stud. I watched the films and he has a 52 yard punt in a 9 mph headwind. This is a definite blessing. GO VOLS!

Very few things dominate the 1/3 of a football game that is special teams like a kicker that consistently puts kickoffs through the endzone. Kinda like Janikowski did at Fl St.

It's amazing how much better your coverage teams are when the ball sails through the checkerboards.:)

98% of his kick offs are touch backs...

I'm thinking he will be our kicker on Year 1.
