I’ve got an Orange hoodie, everything else is white. Problem is that I’m sure it will be in the 80’s, thus to warm to wear the hoodie lol.. I’m pretty sure I’ll be buying a bunch of new gear anyway. Would you buy the gear at the game or is there somewhere close by that might sell it at a better deal? A lot of the things I have now are actually from on campus.
I’ve never gone wrong at Alumni Hall or the “Big Dick’s” as my son describes it to his friends in the dugout.

Better selection and prices.

Both are off the West Hills exit off I-40 West of town.

Recommend you plan to be on campus by noon or earlier, as mentioned earlier the Vol Walk starts about 12:45 and the route is packed, even for lesser games like ETSU. General Gameday info is available at this link:
Scroll down to gameday activities to see campus activities leading up to gameday. The bookstore at the student union lower floor has plenty of Vol gear, but be aware it is not cheap and the place is packed on gameday, as mentioned above Walmart probably has items for a little lower cost. Upper floors of student union have a food court with Chick-Fil-A and various other fast food options. Finally, if you are here Friday, there is a women's volleyball game at the Food City Center (Thompson Bowling Arena) at 6:30 Friday eve. There is a charge for that (varies by seat location), you can get tickets on the UTSports website.
After working most of my life in Virginia, we retired here about 8 years ago. West Knox county and Farragut have a number of nice areas, also Alcoa/Maryville area. Housing costs were low when we moved here but have been rising due to an influx of people moving in over the last few years, but I think you will find it is still a pretty nice area overall. Not far from Smoky Mountains and Dollywood which is a really nice theme park. GBO!!!

Dang sec network TV. This game should be at 7pm. To hell with espn. I'd prefer listening to the Vol Network,at night, all day to prepare, especially now with Mike Keith. Will be much better than the #4 TV broadcast team.

Hey All…my son and I will be attending our first Vols game on Sept 6th vs ETSU (would have preferred Georgia lol) but a friend of mine who has season tickets offered me these two which I accepted with no problem. As a Vols fan in Washington St, this will be an amazing trip. Also will be scouting out the area for retirement. My two main questions are…will will be sitting in section S, do we need to wear orange or white for this game, or are those just designated for certain games (checker seating)?? Also best things to do for pregame experience? My son is 22 and we will be staying downtown. Roughly 7 blocks from Neyland. Thanks everybody
This is nuts. We are taking our two boys to the Arkansas game (their first) and also live in WA St.! We are in SWW. Awesome coincidence! Have a great trip and, if you don’t mind, would love to hear about your experience and any advice. Haven’t been back to Knoxville since 2013 so feeling like a kid in a candy store. Have a great time!

The Pride of the Southland will come down Peyton Manning Pass this season for the band march. The Pride will no longer pass over the pedestrian bridge prior to entering Neyland Stadium. Salute to the Hill will take place at the bottom of Peyton Manning Pass and Phillip Fulmer Way.

Nice to know. Thanks!

We have to continuously evolve... with new construction and fan experience.

Y'all probably won't recognize Cumberland "the strip", completely changed with two lane traffic and a wall of high rises, most of which have just been there two or three years or less. Nothing like it used to be. Also, lots of slow traffic now.
