Long time Vol. My 6 year old son and I are coming up from Birmingham for the Vandy game next week. What’s the best place to see players up close and possibly get an autograph or two? TIA
If you can’t get close enough to the floor pre or postgame, a lot of fans have received autographs from the players as they leave the arena near the shuttle bus drop off.

In the seats near tunnel by the bench during the post game, courtside radio show. Also after wins 2 or 3 players often greet fans and take pics at the concourse area above that tunnel. Near the elevators at the west end of the building. Fulk was there after the TxAM game while JJJ was being interviewed by Bob and Bert. Also, items get passed to Barnes for signatures as he is interviewed by Bob and Bert. He probably signs about 2 or 3 dozen items every post game during the commercial breaks.

Just casually stroll past the ushers after the game, into the tunnel. There used to be a big room where players and families gather after the games. I’ve done that a time or two. Just act natural, like you know where you’re going and like you belong. 😎
GBO!!

That’s the exact way I did things 35 years ago in Neyland. I got a good 10 years worth of autographs. Thanks. Wasn’t sure it would work in TBA

Also, as others said, if casually strolling past the ushers doesn’t work, you can usually catch them leaving the arena, where the buses park. My daughter got the whole women’s Olympic basketball team to sign a WNBA basketball.
Oddly enough, Diana Taurasi was the nicest one, even though my daughter was decked out in orange. She talked with my daughter for a good 5 minutes, along with Sue Bird. Candace Parker wouldn’t even look at her as she was signing.😂🤷‍♂️
GBO!!
