First game: Temple vs Tennessee 1973 (still have the program autographed by the entire team and coaches).

Last game: Don't remember it's been a while.

First: 2002 TN vs South Carolina, but at that time I couldn't care about Tennessee basketball.

Last: January 13th (my birthday) 2014, Tennessee vs Arkansas.. Tennessee upsets Arkansas and sends the Razorbacks packing.

I was at the 11-6 Temple game as well.

First was against Auburn, probably in 1969. Coach Doug Dickey sat right behind me and my Dad.

Last game was the last one last March.

I have a bunch of autographed programs. They cost 25 cents.

First game was in the 1970-71 season against Oregon State. Don't recall the score, but Tennessee won easily. Last game was during the Jerry Green era. A game that Tennessee won against Florida.

If I remember correctly Mears had the team scrimmage after the game so the fans would actually see some basketball. Me and a friend were busy pilfering the locker room while the team remained on the court. I did score a pair of Rodney Woods Converse and a few wrist bands. It was a good night. Aberdeen caught us and chased us out but in reality he didn't care much. The day Stu Aberdeen died hit me as hard as the day David Moss died.

Sorry for the little walk down memory lane.....

My 1st game I can vaguely recall was a Vol Classic from the late 70's.

Last game I attended was a 67-41 beat-down in Gainesville back in '14.

That post game inter squad scrimmage was pretty disappointing. Seems like it was called off pretty quickly.

Another historic Volunteer Classic moment that I witnessed was Gary Carter's miracle steal and game winner from nearly half court against American University. I was not one of the Nega Vols that was heading to their car when it happened. I was in the corner nearest to the TN bench. Carter launched that shot in my general direction. 100,000 probably claim to have witnessed it, but there were less than 5,000 of us that stayed to the very end and saw it. WATE used the clip in their opening to newscasts for a couple of years.

First Game: Vol Classic Semi-final (Friday night December 18th, 1981)

American 58
Tennessee 59

I was 8 years old and at Stokley Athletics Center with my parents. American U. sounds like a nobody but they were coached by Gary Williams (later of Boston College, Ohio State and Maryland) and very tough that year. Tennessee was down 58-57 and turned the ball over under the American U. basket with 3 seconds left. American threw the in-bounds pass to half court and Gary Carter intercepted it and took one dribble and drilled a 40 foot shot at the buzzer to win the game 59-58. It's still the best finish of any game I've ever been to. Carter would be ruled academically ineligible two weeks later. Tennessee was very good in '82 but could have been much better with Carter and Ed Littleton.

Last game: February 2010

Kentucky 65
Tennessee 74

2010 - as good as Tennessee basketball has ever been or may ever be but once again they could have been even better with Tyler Smith.

Lol! Crazy. Beat me by a few minutes. Fwiw, we stayed too. We even watched the Cal vs Wyoming game in the opener (which Cal also won on a last second shot).

My sister worked in the ticket office for Gus Manning, so my first game was in 1970 or 71 against Army (I think) and I got to sit behind the team on the front row. All I remember was Jimmy England was really good, and Rupert Breedlove was on the team but did not get to play (he was easy to spot).

Last game was UNC Asheville when they had the 7'6 kid - think it was when Pearl was coach.
