It is pitiful to say the least coaching staff looked like a bunch of lost kittens the week of the Mississippi st game with Dooley upstairs they had bye week to prepare and still looked like a middle school team. I was still pulling for Dooley up til the Mississippi st loss but things have gone from bad to worse. I think the players and coach haveknown for a while the end is near its a shame they can't take any more pride in the big orange than this 721 yards of total offense for Troy just a sad sad day for volnation.

I challenge you to find one defensive coordinator in the past 50 years that has done as poor a job as Sunseri. Wouldn't you have expected SOME IMPROVEMENT by the ninth game of the season? Today's game clearly shows that this defense is digressing NOT progressing. Sunseri should have been demoted weeks ago. He, like Dooley, is clearly over his head in his current position.

If Dooley and Sunseri are back we may be the first team in the modern era to give up more then 100 points in a single game next year when we play Oregon. How could anyone say Sunseri deserves another year? Normally I would agree one year isn't enough for any coordinator but in this case not so much. Sunseri is ridiculously bad

Recruiting is not bad at all . Take a minute and look up the offers that were extended to the players we have on the field. Most of them were recruited nationally , and a large portion were recruited by they top teams in the nation. A few were not ...but even they were recruited by the top 25 teams in the country .
I expect a few busts in recruiting ...but most of the players on the field were thought to be solid recruits by alot of different programs. These players are being made to look like clowns by bad coaching and scheming. I understand the 3-4 can be a tough transition ...but at this point in the season progress should be apparent.

I would prefer seeing Dooley another year but really Sunseri has to go. I would hate another year of being the laughing stock of the SEC. We use to be feared by all teams in the Sec not any more.

Sal should be fired yesterday! This is an abject failure of a defense. This did NOT have to happen. The right hire would have had a solid defense. Not perfect, but solid and we would be sitting at 8-1 or 7-2. Pathetic...

No coach is going to guarantee stability or wins - Gruden, Strong, Petrino, or anyone else. However, I believe almost any reasonable potential coach to replace Dooley, that has been mentioned in the various boards, would have brought us at least two more wins... and no close call with the likes of Troy.

The sooner Hart makes a coaching change - the sooner the new coach can begin building a winner at UT once again. The longer he takes - the farther this team and our fan base slide into deeper apathy.

the people have spoken with no sellout and a less than stellar attendance at the game.there is no way administration nor donors can allow Dooley to coach Tennessee past 2012. We need better recruits.If we have any good recruits that are still committed kiss them good bye, because of the uncertain job security of dooley and staff.

Really man.What planet are you on.He should have gave wilcox a raise and not hired Sunseri.With Wilcox we are at least 6-3 maybe 7-2.

I think Dooley should stay. Sunseri should go! He's had time to at least show improvement. Defense became the worst I have ever seen in college game. It's one thing to give up big plays because you're out manned, but TN was not out manned.

TN needs to start the coaching search now, TN cant afford to let Auburn or anyone else get the jump start.

And the reason Dooley was not fired last year was because Doolanders said NEXT YEAR would be better year to find an "absolutely accomplished coach". Well guess what Doolanders, NEXT YEAR IS HERE!!
