Firefox 3

It isn't available on a Mac, in fact I found out that OSX doesn't normally allow apps to go fullscreen... here's a post on how to 'trick' it as best as you can.

Then any time you want to go full, you just click that bookmark.

Okay, I tried this and it maximizes the window but it's not full screen mode. There's a Mac program called Megazoom that apparently works with Safari for full screen but not sure if it works with FF3

For those Mac users out there, there is a "Zoom" command under the Window Menu that does the same thing as the script (maximizes window).

Thanks anyway Rwemyss.

Cool.

Sounds like a lot of work for something so simple... ya know... that just should be part of the OS package... :whistling: :)

Interestingly, Alt+S is working for me in Quick Reply, but only highlights the button when I go into regular Post Reply. Is there anything that would seem to make this action different, Freak?
Same here. When doing the Quick Reply it works correctly and the normal reply it does what you said.

Been pretty good. How's the married life treating you?
Decent. We've got a routine going right now, so things are smooth. She's getting tired of having an 8-5, but she'll get used to that eventually. I still get my video game time in, so all is well... she even cooks sometimes!
Give him a second, his wife has to tell him what to type.
Har har.

My nontechnical answer is that it's faster, seldom has errors, has better tabbed browsing and overall I just like it better.

Exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks; just downloaded version ff3.

Very very nice. I love it. I got the add on where u can put your arrow over your tabs and it shows what is on the page without having to click it. Pretty cool.

I just downloaded the portable apps version of FF3 (which is how I roll at work). Did you ever figure out how to resolve this issue?

BTW, Alt+S and then enter works.

Gotta love a good flash drive and portable apps. :)

Thanks Vader, I didn't realize that when a button gets highlighted that pressing the spacebar or enter would cause the button action. :p

Of course I knew that! It is just annoying. :)

Mac users of Firefox may be interested to know that there is finally a plug-in for the new version which will let you view PDFs right inside the browser. Now if only there was something which would FF use the system keychain instead of saving its own passwords separately....

I want to go on record that the "Piclens" plugin is pretty freaking cool.

Anyone else using this yet? Not a lot different, I was already using the beta-but I do like the green back button.
