Wasn’t even that good of a defense, we had to slow our offense down so much because of Nico that our opponents had less possessions.

Banks and Martinez are a worst combination than chavis and slade.

We are on the outside looking in so we will never really know. But I personally do know what athletic talent looks like and we don't have much on defense. Think about this we are still playing a walk on defensively. This is year 5 that shouldn't be the case

Hell, the one good defense cam because we played a once in a lifetime procession of absolutely terrible offensive teams. Arnold for Oklahoma, Milroe for Bama, all terrible until we got smoked by Ohio State.

Can't wait for Banks to lead this defense next year with the schedule TN has. You think Florida looked bad this year just hold on for Tennessee next year.

Defense was not disciplined, couldn't tackle and ended with its worst performance of the year, at home, and was one of the poorest defenses in the conference. Banks has to go. Replace Halzle too. Guy was a loyalty hire as he has survived on Heupel's coattails for years. He made zero adjustments against Vandy and completely fell apart in the 2nd half.
