Fire the Sucky Fans!

boooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!......yeah I'm booing,I have the right to,even though I am doesn't make me less of a fan.

No need to fire the sucky fans....we already feel like we have been laid off. The "company" has forgotten about us. For a once proud and productive company, the Music City Bowl ain't much of a severance package.

We have a right to BOO when we spend over 200$ on tickets and see our team get flat out whooped out there. We aren't cheering for any other team we are SICK of having to put up with 4 years in row of losing to Florida for one thing, but the main thing is coach Philip Fulmer and his losing ways.So you want to know what Im tired of all YOU fans who keep trying to pretend everythings okay, when you know its not.Well all I got to say that is this (PATHETIC!)

So showing hatred for the players helps things.

Whatever. I'm for doing it the right way. In the office, not the stadium. So fire him. You'll gripe about the "rebuilding years" too.

No, everyone will just be hopeful leading up to the season start drinking the Kool- aid, become vulnerable to disappointment and jump ship at the first sign of trouble. Just like... what year was that we had the new OC/offensive staff...?

When my eight year old nephew (see avatar) can tell me the play calls, well?

Heck i can do one better. During the UT-UF game, i asked my dog to bark once for interception at the goal line, twice for td, three for run that doesn't work. She barks once and then five seconds later Crompton throws the pick in the endzone.
[QUOTESo showing hatred for the players helps things.
To me, booing does not show hatred for players. I have booed many times at sporting events, and never once was the booing projected as an act of hate. The booing at the UT-UF was an outward sign of an inward emotion. We "boo-birds" do not hate the players, nor does anyone hate coach Fulmer. But are we displeased with the efforts that have been put forth by both respectively. Booing is the only outlet for passionate, emotional fans of the program. Phil, in his post game comments, made the statement that he would have even booed at times. Looks like that should settle the case once and for all for the Fulmerites! When the team fields a disciplined, competitive, smash-mouth team, my boo's will seldom be heard. Until then, I will be just like the passionate, merchandise buying, ticket paying, alumni-boosting, boo birds of last Saturday. I will boo!

I'm not scared to be in the minority...oh yea, G. Jones thinks about the same thing I do, so I'll just stand with him & the other guys. I hope they do perform better, and I'm sure you guys will be all giggles & smiles then you bunch of turncoats!

Hmmmm, best I can remember hearing and reading this week, Gerald Jones called the coaches out for not throwing the ball in the G-gun, and defenses know what's coming, ala the tricky Eric Locke package.

Nice example to prove your point Mrs. Fulmer.

Um, yeah we are definetly make the problem worse. We are destroying the kids and coaches pysche. We are the reason Crompton can't make a read. Why our special teams can't cover anyone. My goodness, you are an idiot.

How many UT fans booed the team at the UCLA game?

Speaking of jumping ship, how is Iowa doing this year?

Booo WHoooo

Guess someone needs to have a tantrum on the field or in the stands next time instead of booing.........

Damn I love TENNESSEE football and the passion everyone has, be it positive or negative...

GO VOLS...............
GO BIG ORANGE ....:rock::dance2:

You're exactly right, I don't consider anyone that behaves like that to be true fans. I they don't like the way our boys are playing then maybe they can get out on the field and do it better.....Or maybe just get their head knocked off by a 300 pound lineman. If you ask me, fans like that belong with the Gators or USC.....You know, one of the band wagon teams. Honestly I'm sure how this game with Auburn will go, but we all need to support our team like true fans and not like a bunch spoiled little babies. My best friend, who I think might have been a bigger vols fan than me, would have loved to be able to at least see that game, but he died in July from lightning strike. So this is written in his memory....The memory of a true fan! GO VOLS!

So if we have been going to the games for 20+ years, supporting the team, buying the merchandise, going to the O&W game, giving donations to the VASF, and are sick of the crap on the field, we aren't "true" fans?

Sorry to hear about your friend, but if you want to settle for mediocre, sloppy play, be the laughingstock of the SEC, and have stories on ESPN of what's wrong with the Vols, then be my guest.

I guess you think Jerry Green should still be here. He did make it to the Sweet 16.

If it looks like a Yugo, drives like a Yugo and sounds like a Yugo there should never be anything wrong with calling it a Yugo. There is no excuse for the Tennessee Football program to get to this level. The product is a Yugo and I think that we have paid for a Porsche and should not settle for the current type Yugo football program.

The BOOS weren't intended to be towards players, they were intended for coach FOOLMER and only one player Jonathan CRAPTON!If anyone sucks its Phil and crapton!

GO BIG ORANGE!:yahoo:

Some of the kids were playing their guts out, you are right. Hey, does it count that I have thrown my guts up watching Crompton play this year?

To all the CRAP "fans" out there who many people are sick & tired of, go pull for someone else, because there are a lot of real fans who don't want to hear your garbage anymore!

These are young men who are playing their guts out on the field for your entertainment and you whine like pigs getting their sack cut off. Blame the coaches or lack of talent...but the good fans will lift up the boys.
The only FL game I have ever gone to & the "BOOO" fans made a bad situation worse. Any good thing we did, the crappy fan in front of me complained in his seat & never cheered for the good, just like a lot of you guys. You just teamed up with all the bad we got going for us. So you sent a clear message to our good recruits saying "we are having a bad year & our fans aren't with us either."

Shut your mouths! There are a lot of fans who are sick of you so back off. You ruin a fun sport, a good web sight, a game day, and the game expirence itself! All programs are up & down & nobody is thrilled with their school stinking. So I got an idea, save the cheers for some other bandwagon team thats doing good for now, & let the real UT fans stick with their team, their coaches & their college.

As a 40 year volunteer fan can i just say that you can back incompetance on behalf of CFP and his staff all day if you want. But don't think for a minute that I have to listen to you tell ME to cheer a crappy coaching staff with a crappy QB who can't throw a simple slant. Turn a blind eye to stupidity and inability because your holding on to '98.
