Honestly, I think that David Cutcliffe is a heckuva (pun intended) coach and recruiter, but it's time for new blood at Tennessee.

Besides, I don't know if he would take Fulmer's job anyway, with them being good friends and all.

All I know is that when he left our recruiting started falling off. Then he came back and our recruiting got somewhat better. Then he left, and I don't need to tell you about last year's recruiting class. I've always thought that Cutcliffe - not Fulmer - was the best recruiter we had on staff. I think that history supports that.

Cutcliffe took a number 1 draft pick, Jay Graham, and a couple of first round receivers into a game with a 4-7 Memphis team. He put up 17 points and lost.
