explain how this staff has somehow miraculously recruited enough O talent to be competitive, but at the same time has (your perception) failed abysmally at recruiting D talent?

I have supported Dooley till now.... but yesterday our Vols were confused and uncertain of themselves. It was very apparant during several defensive formations and especially pass coverage. Our Vols play play hard after the ball is snapped, but in between is where the lack of coaching really shows. Yes, its time for a change. Let's hope they can win out and make it a respectable season. Go Vols!!!

I still think he will Coach out the rest of the season without an announcement.

There is enough to fire him with at this point even if he wins out...no need to do it now unless you are going to annouce the next coach soon as well.
