No we didn't. Well us rational ppl didn't. I expected us to go 7-5, or something around that.

That was with Tyler Bray, with hunter, with j. Jackson, with Poole getting another 1000 yd season, with lathers.

I mean, come on, after all we've lost, sometimes a season is a wash. I'm looking forward to next season. You fair weather fans are getting old.

Stupid, if we fire another coach, it will be that much longer before we become relevant, if ever. Who wants to come to the place where they fire coaches after two seasons? You and the rest of the fair weather fans need to gtfo

The product on the field is indicative of the coaching received. Where is the coaching? 0-6 in the SEC and a underdog to Vandy at HOME. And the worse part is Dooley acts likes everything is just fine.

I think its more of a matter of how UT is getting beat. It would help the masses if we were at least competitive and showed progress even in defeat. Dare I say "played with some heart". Saw it last season but haven't this year. The schedule alone should offer improvement. Then again it may be 2013 before we truly know.

WRONG! The product on the field is indicative of 3 different coaches in 3 years... You are dumb if you actually thought we would stand a chance with the hardest schedule in the nation and one of the youngest teams in the nation... Explain to me what 6 missed tackles on a punt return has to do with the coaching staff... you can't coach F*** ups... All you fair weather fans that want another coaching change are idiots... That will only drop our program into another 5 year recession of losing.. You have to be patient... Lets see what he can do with the people he's recruiting.. I give him next year and if we don't show production... then he's on the hot seat.. Until then STFU and stay off VOLnation... We would prefer to only have real fans on here that support this team through thick and thin... NOT ONES WITH UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS!!!

Not calling for him to be fired, because I think it would be impossible to hire a good coach after just giving this guy two years. I just don't think he's going to be the guy to get it done. I've been through all of those reasons, so I won't again here and now.
Pretty much, I'm just bracing for another two years of watching poorly coached football. Then we can talk about who we're gonna hire.

You are clueless. UT has 8 upper classmen in their starting lineups 3 on offense and 5 on defense with 3 of those 8 are only in their 2nd year at UT or playing the position (Austin Johnson was a fullback his first 2 years).

Remember UT lost 3 recruiting classes through the coaching changes. That's Senior class leadership lost. OSU hasn't lost any of that. They have been able to stay the course. In losing Pryor, the coaches were able to prepare Miller b/c Pryor was long gone by fall. UT did a great job preparing Bray to step in last year but Worley was suppose to redshirt this year so he didn't get any game time during the season leading up to him starting. Totally different situations.

UT has lost their #1 QB, top 2 DBs, #1 LB, #1 WR on top of all the youth they are already playing.

Plus, OSU plays in a weaker conference. OSU would lose to Florida, UGA, LSU, Alabama and Arkansas. South Carolina would be a toss up now w/o Lattimore.

The six mixed tackles on the punt return were Dooleys recruits! Your point failed---it actually made dooley look worse.

In case you didn't know, experience includes more than just the starters. Our backup TE is a FR, their backup is a JR. Our backup RB is a freshman, theirs is a Junior. And the LB corps is 2 Freshman and 1 Senior for the Vols. Only during the nickel do we play Vereen. Not sure where you get 2 seniors and 1 junior.

The only starter that returned from last year's defense that started for us last week was Malik Jackson. None of the starting DBs started last year, none of the LBs were starters, and none of the D-linemen outside of Malik were starters.

Once again, do you care to look any dumber?

dooley will get 4 years minimum after all the problems he inherited from fulmer/kiffin and all the injuries.

So you're saying Dooley recruited people that can't tackle??? The fact that 6 of HIS recruits are on the field goes to show how little depth we have... MY POINT STANDS!

Am I the only one that thinks these threads about firing Dooley should be deleted. Dooley probably thinks "Fire the Fanbase". The more I see negative posts on this board the more I realize they don't know what it was like back in the "Bad Days" to be a Vol fan. Currently we are just experiencing growing pains imo. Changing of the guard so to speak.

Actually your point still fails. Your previous statement said " Dooley cant help that he as f*** ups" and "just wait till he gets his recruits." Well those f*** ups and those recruits are his!

Listen, everyone knows that we are extremely young and lack depth, but we are 9 games into the season and there is no visible improvement. Actually there is no visible improvement from last season and any vol fan should be concerned and question dooleys ability

This is exactly what I didn't say.. As F*** ups... I was referring to players that are young and inexperienced F***ing up and missing the plays.. I said we need to wait and see what Dooley can do with these recruits... Yeah they had a horrible game.. But you can't say "well he's not teaching them anything... they are horrible.. blah blah blah..." This team is you and gaining a lot of experience right now.. We started the season with team that would be 7-5 at best based on our schedule... We lost 3 of our key play makers... and we are playing the toughest schedule in the nation... to expect more out of this team right now is insane... I hope we can beat Vandy and UK and pull a bowl game.. That's the best anyone can hope for right now.. They won't fire Dooley after this season. Not gonna happen.. He gets next season.. so just Shutup and watch the game... or don't.. I could care less about you fair-weather fans that know nothing about football..
