Fire Chaney

Chaney has been one of the best OC's in college football for a while (to be honest it's between him and Kiffin).

Guess people forget the offense we had in his first stint here. One of the best all time at TN but we didn’t have a defense.

This guy has not done jack squat with these QBs or this offense. The defense has progressed all year. The offense has stunk it up.

Chaney can’t make the throws for Guarantano. It should’ve been 21-0 at halftime, but Guarantano couldn’t make an accurate throw once they got in the red zone. The announcer even pointed out how open a couple of throws were and how bad of ball placement Guarantano had. Here’s to hoping the coaching staff has enough confidence in Harrison Bailey to finally pull the plug on Guarantano for good. Chaney is a very good coordinator with a really bad qb right now.

Chaney's the best OC we've had since Cutcliffe, imo. What he does formation-wise and with play calling is light years beyond anyone we've had in a long while. Does he occasionally make bone-headed calls? Absolutely. He's also dealt with a very volatile QB situation all season long. I for one am excited to see what he can do with HB coming in next year.

All I will say is I still cant believe we didn't throw JJ a quick hitch pass to begin the 2nd half. They were playing 10 yards off of him and to the inside. It was there almost the entire time. No brainer if you ask me (although nobody did).

Did you not think the lack of running in the red zone was a concern? You’d think Chaney understands JGs limits

For anyone blaming Chaney, just remember last night with the game on the line, down two scores in the 4th quarter on a 3rd and long, Guarantano decided to check down behind the line of scrimmage to a WELL covered receiver rather than risk throwing a long ball which would be no different than a punt if intercepted. Chaney didn't throw that ball. JG did.

Are you serious... have you even looked at our qbs...they are not good... not good at all...we should think before speaking
You realize where you are at, right. Engaging brain before fingers hitting keyboard is taboo with some "fans".
