Finish 6-6, make a lower-tier bowl. What will be your reaction...

If you mean 2009, no way we lose to Kentucky or Vandy. If you mean 2010 no way we lose 6 games. Tough schedule but we will be much improved with players knowing the system. 5 guaranteed wins- UTM, UAB, Memphis, Vandy, Kentucky. Ole Miss, Bama, Florida, Oregon all at home(win 2 of 4). Georgia, Cocks, LSU on road(win 2of 3). I see 9-3, 8-4 but much more competitive talent wise just young.

You and I are on the same wave length as far as our short and mid term records go. I hope that does not scare you!:birgits_giggle:

I am hoping (or dreaming) that a year of development, early enrollees, weight training, spring, and fall practices we can turn this thing around with what we've got.

Tickets prices should be cut in half next year to match the effort shown on the field this year.

So much easier to take the cheap shots after today. Funny, I don't recall comments like this after Georgia or S.Carolina. I guess it is much easier for fans like you to be critical than positive. Sad.

Yes, but the Lane Train is a coming! We are in far better shape with the current staff than the last one.. I will take the Music City Bowl, we were watching eveyone else last year. Things will be better......

Wait wait....so who are you having us lose to in the next two weeks?

The 2 win vanderbilt team or the UK team who's starting QB is lost for the season?

Hartline played today, sorry.

Will be 7-5 and end up in Atlanta or Nashville. Who knows about next year. Every year stands on its own. Will say 8-4 next year because we have a favorable home schedule and will be good for upsetting someone. May be 7-5 again but fans have to be realistic and know that it takes a little time. 2011 will be UT's year. Enjoy every win until we're championship-level, then expect wins.

huh....i thought you told me, in the thread about him getting hurt, that he was gone for the season

what was his injury anyways?

Tore some knee cartilage but won't have surgery until offseason. Swelling is down enough to play now.

ugh, sounds lovely

does that mean anything like he risks he gets hit in the knee and he'll be right back out again or something?

I'll be fine. I really didn't expect to be any better than that this year. Next year will probably be a rough one but I have my hopes on everything after that when Kiffen has his recruits ready to play.

These people wanting to run Kiffin off are crazy. They obviously dont see the big picture or follow recruiting what so ever. We got beat today and that sucks but the person responsible for getting that talent at Ole Miss is our D Line coach. Coach Nutt is lucky and will never have a group of players that good again. In 2 years, when Coach O's players are gone, Ole Miss will be back at the bottom of SEC and Nutt will be out of a job. To you folks with one leg off the Lane Train go head and get off, stay at home on Saturdays, and quit telling me to sit down I cant see during the games. We didn't get out coach today. We got out recruited for the past 7 years.

Rome was not built in a day.

I would also still be puzzled what motivates loser fans from other teams to pose as vol fans and troll the board for reactions.

If we win the next two the rumor is Outback might be in the mix. Not sure how real that is though.

Man, I wanted the Sooners in the Cotton but now I hope we get the U in the chik fil abecause it will be marquee and do wonders for exposure. If we do go to the Music City, lets hope Ga Tech lose the ACC Championship which we might get Va Tech. N.C. will be good because I cannot stand Butch Davis and I always been a Duke BBall fan so I don't like the Tar Heels but I like the Carolina Blue tho.
