No.....CBS just thinks Florida vs Kentucky will get higher ratings.....They see Tebow as having a star magnetism that draws neutral fans....and it will be a much higher scoring game with more big plays.
spoken like someone who's a fan of a team that hasn't had any rivals save the past 25-30 years. As I see it, the relatively small fact that your bama game is not being nationally broadcast has become, for UT fans, the embodiment of the larger fact that UT as a program has ended up as a footnote to the college football season. You guys sound like you are rationalizing things WAY too much.
You got that right. He grew up in Memphis as a Bear Bryant fan. Nerdy little hair-challenged guy who probably never had a date while on the hill. He runs a soap oprae radio show here with the same retards calling in every day. He doesn't know the difference in a spread offense and a spread eagle.
Finebaum is paid to write opinion. His opinion of Fulmer is that he's a rat and a douchebag. That's not at all bad journalism. It's good commentary. And yes Finebaum is a UT alum, but really hates the Vols. If you ever listen to his radio program or read his editorials you'll pick up quickly his distaste for the Vols program. He likes to take verbal jabs at the Vols as well. Not what I consider very professional journalism.
I hate rationalizing. I just know we're ahead of the gators in the loss column. Nuff said.... :neener2:As I see it, the relatively small fact that your bama game is not being nationally broadcast has become, for UT fans, the embodiment of the larger fact that UT as a program has ended up as a footnote to the college football season. You guys sound like you are rationalizing things WAY too much.

Dang, I was gonna say that....As I see it, your backhanded shot at Tennessee football is an embodiment of a psychological defense mechanism which has no doubt been triggered by the fact that Florida may well be on their way to a 3rd straight loss in 3 weeks and a state of irrelevance not seen since Ron Zook was barging into fraternity houses at 3 a.m.
