Marshall, Howland or Smart. Don't care which one. Both have been to the Final Four and proven their abilities.

Tennessee has never been to a Final Four. Zo, Pearl, Buzz, Green, O'Neil, Houston, Devoe, Mears, etc. - no Final Fours.

Go hire a winner that will get UT to the Final Four with a chance to win an NC. Period. Quit hiring wannabes on the cheap.

It would be nice to have another Ray Mears or Don Devoe coaching UT next season.

UT is damn lucky our fans care enough to sign a petition instead of simply just not showing up at all for either sport. Amazing we still rank in both major sports where we do in attendance. In particular with what it costs to go to these events. Media elites are ripping fans left and right but our administration doesn't deserve our loyal fan base.

So does Mike Davis, and I bet you could really get him on the cheap. Heck, he might pay Hart to coach at U.T.

My point was that we have people here *****ing because our current class doesn't have 4 and 5 stars, or is ranked top 20. They're saying you have to have highly rated guys to win. So my point was if they were complaining about Zo's recruiting even though it produced sweet 16 results, they're likely not gonna prefer Marshall's anymore than Martin's.

If CCM's teams had went to a Final Four 2 years ago and finished with an undefeated regular season this year, I doubt you'd see too many people b!tching and moaning about his recruiting.

Duke assistant, Missouri Head Coach, Currently the assistant head coach for the Hawks. Sure he might have a few blemishes on the old resume, but cocaine is one hell of a drug.

Marshall is a proven winner, I could careless how boring his interviews are. He could bring in JUCO's that can actually play no offense to Miller, Pops, and Edwards. But that's what JUCO's are suppose to do. He is a great talent evaluator.

Not a great time to have to do a coaching search. What are the big names that would be available?

I'm not sure that UT could swing Marshall, and frankly, he may be the closest to a sure thing that is out there.

Dude Quinn is out there. HIRE QUINN SNYDER. UT loves a coach with with intensity in his eyes. A coach that prowls the sidelines like a caged animal. A coach that grinds his teeth into powder. A coach that loves the Co-Eds. Quinn Synder is just the man for the job.

Maybe not, but when you know that your coach is not "the guy" then why keep him around another year? I've seen the Memphis board melt down. The Memphis fans could only dream that Pastner would put them out of their misery by leaving.
