Who's cheering about everyone trashing the program? Let's be honest, and call a spade a spade here...I'm sick of hearing everyone, press,etc. Trash the football team, but it's butch's job to shut them up, and he hasn't yet.

Maybe but their defense looked pretty stout to me. Before the game I thought they weren' that good on D but after watching the game I thought otherwise. You never know until you get to November and see who has won and who has lost. We'll know for sure in about 3-4 weeks. Until then it's just talk...

You're right. Only time will time. But it could be argued that the D looked stronger than you thought because we didn't change up our offense enough to keep them guessing. But I'll be honest I don't know about enough scheming to know for sure.

I don't either but Bullard and Cox are beasts and their whole defense played with a lot of intensity and they hit hard. It was a pretty brutal game. You could see that watching it on TV. I'll be interested to see how Ol Miss does against them.

Florida also has a great defense, which we do not. Florida also didn't play Oklahoma. Florida has depth on defense in which was our down fall and basic reason we lost. They have quality depth. We do not.

I'm always amazed when they cheer opposing teams' fans that come on here and tell them they should support their coaches and shouldn't expect to win with the talent they have

They're in denial. They've convinced themselves that there's no way this could be a 10 win team, because we have no depth and are too young (this is a mirror image reflection of the attitude displayed by Butch, so one can't be too surprised).

It will, however, be the same people who will be giddy after an 8 win season and decent bowl, not realizing that it just proves your point that we had ample oppurtunity to be a 10 win team with quality coaching.

We all get it. You have a hard on for Clay Travis. I don't care for the douche bag either (yes I am a UT grad your not the only one here) and I do share your disgust for the guy. But he is right.

As stated before I understand questioning the coaching staff, I have some questions myself. But you do not absolutely trash a coach, when you need to be supportive in a rebuild. We are not there yet, any fool with half a brain can see we are playing basically freshmen and sophomores. The improvement is being made at different levels, you all can see that. I hate losing as much as you do especially in winnable games. But at some point you have to realize maybe we would be 4-0 if a couple players make a couple plays. We do not have good depth at key positions. Everything isn't the coaches
