I dont how many of you listen to Finebaum today but I heard he was talking about the Music City bowl and said that UT was embarrassing the way they played and acted, I also heard he had a caller to say that we had thugs on our team. I was wondering did anyone else hear this?

Didn't hear it but the "UT has thugs" caller was probably either a Big 10 fan or a Vanderbilt student if I was guessing.

BTW, I don't know how he can say that we were embarrassing. We were one missed extra point away from a win. If anything, Daniel Lincoln played embarrassingly. Bray is a true freshman and he made some throws very uncharacteristic of a typical true freshman. Running game woes were due to young line so.......Finebaum=moron.

Finebaum does nothing but play to his pro-bama listeners....they want to hear that the state of Tennessee is full of more hillbillies than Alabama and that Vol football players are immature thugs....therefore, that's what Finebaum tells them. Unlike the media in Tennessee, he understands what his listeners want and gives it to them....I'm not sure he even believes half the crap he spews....but it keeps his ratings up and the cash flowing.

I can't ever make out what he's saying. His head being so far in his ass creates an echo.

.01% to .02% maybe...On a weird slow day...For me personally, I would have to be held hostage and forced to listen...He is a flyspeck on the buttocks of humanity....JMHO

He says stuff like this, people like you repeat it, and people turn into his show to see what he will say next. Finebaum laughs all the way to the Bank.

Classic Finebaum--two weeks ago on Brando's show, caught the tail end of him talking about how the reason "yocals" like us, by his estimation prefer local sports talk, is because we only want to be spoon fed bias information by writers who are fans instead of journalists. He went on to blah, blah, blah about how blogs sites, and fake-journalists are ruining the genre of sports writing for fair and balanced deities such as himself.

This.

Your best bet is to not even listen to him. He's an ass for a reason, he's a joke.

Think about it! Why is Finebaum located in Alabama? He had to go where he could get an audience that cannot think. He knows he can throw anything there and they will swallow it.

Idiots attract!

Daniel Lincoln was embarrassing. But TN should have run 4 or 5 more seconds off the clock on the last possession even if it means taking a delay of game penalty.

The tv broadcast must've shown us in a pretty poor light cause I've heard the same thing. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary at the game. Apparently celebrating a touchdown is the sign of a thug now?

I agree, But the Bray throat-slashing was kinda over the top.

The thing is Bray keep making hand signs and stuff over and over again. And this was right after another player got a flag for saluting so there no need to even make one sign.

Immature? Yes. But the way that the throat slash gesture has gotten blown out of proportion in general is absolutely ridiculous. It is taunting just like the rest of the dances, hand gestures, trash talking, etc...and should be flagged and/or spoken of no differently than any of the rest of them.

I honestly believe that Bob Davie thought that Janzen Jackson and Tyler Bray were going to try to murder and/or decapitate as many UNC players as possible after the game by the way he was talking about them. GIVE ME A BREAK.

Funny how a biased announcer making a bunch of random comments can attract sheep - even some Tennessee fans.

We should mention Bob Davie's "history of rape and molestation charges" every chance we get.

Finebaum is a huge Bama fan and everything he says should be taken as such. What does a Bama fan talking trash about the vols mean? The sun rose this morning, nothing in it
