Would be the one to get the UT gang back together.

HC - Steele
OC - Tee
DC - Chief

On a side note:
Peerless Price said he would like to get in and coach WR.

I also heard the podcast interview of Al Wilson from the Swain Event and Al implied he would love to help the young athletes.

I bet Eric would help if needed.

This would be a great coaching staff.

Great, really! You honestly believe this ragtag bunch could win a championship. They would never be able to beat Saban, Smart or Mullen. If Kiffin is picked up in the SEC add him to the list. It amazes me how little the Vol Nation knows about football.

I don't want Al Wilson anywhere near this team at the moment.

You realize how easily they get injured right now? Add an Al Wilson on top of that.

"No, THIS is how you hit someone!"

"Umm, can I get a trainer and a gurney please?"
Hahaha, thanks for making me laugh!

Another post that ranks as one of the most idiotic. Have you checked Steele's record as a head coach? Some fine due diligence you did there.

Anyone remember what happened last time they hire an inexperienced ex Vol as a coach?

This program needs new blood not stale blood. I'd be ok with T Martin. Venables and Les Miles should be offered a Jimbo contract and there is no way they would say no. They are proven recruiters coachers and winners.

Seems strange to me that we are focusing so hard on getting UT guys at this point.

With PF at the helm I think we can just focus on getting the best now.

So you don't think they should hire Dabo after Saban?

Dabo would be a fool to leave Clemson.
If he goes to Bama and doesn't almost immediately win championships, they'll run him out of town. It's hard to describe how enamored the Clemson fans are with Dabo.

I live in Pickens, SC and I can back this up. Those people are drones for him. Dude could ride that national championship out for a LONG time and never have to worry about his job. Just pack the bank with money and say cute slogans and he is golden.

Op said Eric ....not Erik. Do we have a great young former player named Eric who is also a fantastic role model?? Then that's probably who the OP was talking about.

Westmoreland doing great at Baylor in Chattanooga 👍🏻

Why would they not be enamored. Recruiting dynamo, down home, good staff, loyal fan base and most importantly SUCCESS. We should be so lucky
