Finebaum: "Pruitt killed it"

He said "oww, stop" after every play he lined up against Albert Toena

Maybe, but I know he went silent when Aaron Sears moved over to block him after the starting LT got injured. Pollack was real good ... Aaron Sears was phenomenal.

So he used his insider status to learn that Pruitt nailed the press conference today?

No I don’t think so. I just meant Finebaum has his platform. He is the person that SEC coaches, administration members, boosters talk to to get their message out or leak info. I certainly don’t agree with everything he says, but I don’t think he’s blindly a Bama homer either. He’s definitely praised them a lot, but he’s also made it known when he and Saban had disagreements.

People are more excited for Pruitt than they were for Butch or Dooley, but I still think people were most excited about Kiffin.

Honestly I was like a little school girl. When I found out Monty was coming I knew that was what we needed to put us over the top.

I nearly lost my job so I could go-to the Ole Miss game that year. Its closest to home and well UT met this running back named Dexter. Dexter was not nice to the UT defense. Dexter made it a long ride home for me.

"We have a good one finally"

We thought that Kiffin was a good one. He brought his dad who invented the Tampa 2 defense. He brought Oregon to coach defensive line. Kiffin Jr. Kiffin Sr. & Oregon all had NFL experience. We were excited about that staff also. Then we ended up losing to Ole Miss because a small back got 300 yards against us. then we get blown out against Va. Tech in the bowl game.

We thought that Dooley was good because Saban said he would turn our program around. His dad was a good coach at UGA. he has coaching in his genes. He coached with Saban at LSU when LSU won the National Championship. He was a head coach at La. Tech.

We thought bUTch was a good hire. He had experience at Central Michigan & Cincinnati. He coached J.J. Watt, Antonio Brown and he coached the K.C. Chiefs first round pick in the draft. Hell, other colleges are trying to hire him. Colleges such as Colorado, etc. he also said the right thing in press conferences. He was a good hire.

I see Pruitt improving our program but we have to catch all of the other programs in the SEC. So, we have to catch them and then pass them, with someone who has never been a head coach.

I have never thought any of the things above and neither did Paul. Wife used to work with him and he loves UT like the rest of us but is in shock at some of the horrible admin moves our school has made. He is a pleasure to talk with in person, he simply knew where his bread was buttered.

They could replace him tomorrow with some other host and it would instantly be a better show without Pawl, IMO.

Finebaum's got a lot of nerve calling anyone else a "carny barker" with that freak show he presides over every day.

A guy can love the Vols but hate the administration? This will be news to many here.

Most everyone here feels the same.
