There's no doubt that LSU would be the favorite in a matchup with Tennessee in Atlanta.

That said, if the Vols can get to the Georgia Dome, all bets are off. LSU has been too sloppy against inferior teams, and Les Miles has been too close to defeat on far too many occasions for a team with that much talent. Tennessee's personnel isn't quite on par with LSU's...but it's close enough.

I think this team likes to play with that "us against the world" mentality...and they'd have no trouble taking that kind of attitude into a game with the #1 team in the country. And, say what you will about Fulmer...but I'll take Phil in a chess match with Les Miles.

LSU is due for a loss. They've had about 3-4 very lucky wins, with a bunch of 4th down conversions. UT will beat them by 7-10 in the Ga Dome.

Right now I just want the opportunity to beat them and wreck their season. Nobody is giving us a shot against them.

Too bad Bama had to choke away the game against LSU.

Redemption is on our side against LSU. They cost us a shot at a National Championship in 2001 and it's our turn to return the favor. :good!:


I think how we play these last two games will be a good determining factor on how we're likely to show up in Atlanta assuming we win them both. If we show up to play in both games and things are clicking well and the defense plays well then LSU is in for a helluva fight.

LSU probably doesnt want to play a hot UT or UGA team considering they would be coming into the Championship game with so much confidence and a us against the world mentality. UGA would be playing for a big time bcs bowl and a top 5 finish to season ....Richt over Miles anyday. UT....wow whats not at stake for the Vols. Talking about restoring order in the SEC a win in the title game would put the big orange back on the map and shocking the nation and sending the BCS into a nose dive. Would be the biggest win since the NC game. LSU has been pencilled in NC game since the end of last season. As much as the Nation is in love with Oregon, KU, and WVU, and in some regards Mizzou. CFB needs LSU to win out...so with all that pressure and UT or UGA having nothing really lose I think and upset will be highly possible in the Title game. As whacky as season has been......The top 8 teams in the BCS in my opinion will have a long way to go. my predicition for title game is KU vs LSU or KU vs Oregon

How can this idiot say that with a straight face. UGA is playing well now. We are playing well now. If i remember correctly we pasted georgia. We've been helter skelter but we beat the pants off georgia. I don't follow this guy's logic i'll say it again. He's a idiot.

yeah because our last 2 games against LSU haven't been good games... is this LSU team that much better than last year's and our team this year that much worse than last year's?

Your right about that.....LSU is lucky they have 1 loss....They could very easily have 2 or 3.....Don't know why everyone thinks they are invincible....LSU is very Beatable!

I think to win this one, we have to hope LSU doesn't come out ready for this one. If they play well, I would be surprised if we keep it that close.

Actually Pat Summit got him fired from the school newspaper for something he had written about the Lady Vols. Maybe that's some of the reason for his anti-Vol stance.

From what I understand he has nothing against Tennessee as a University. His issues are all with Fulmer and the whole "turning in cheating Bama" thing. And remember....much of what he says is part of an act. He's playing to a predominantly Alabama audience.
