Finebaum hops on the Lane Train ( even though our UTAD is corrupt)

Right. They are part of the "I'd rather die" gang that will kill this program. Get LK here and cut the BS!

It’s official. Hell has froze over

Paul Finebaum and Steve freakin Spurrier are better T.N. ADs in this coaching search than the one we have

Don't care for finebaum OR kiffin. If I never hear either's name again my life will be blessed.

I've tried to be realistic about this and somewhat calm. But given the controversy, has the administration considered that maybe it's not the pressure of fans driving coaches away but maybe they don't want to work for our AD. So...........why is Currie still here?

You know I've been thinking about this & I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather swallow my pride & be a humble winner, as oppose to a stubborn arrogant loser. If he will come, give him the job.

I would argue Steve Spurrier could probably be a better AD than three quarters of the SEC ADs. I still hate him tho.

SO KIffin can leave us again after a year or 2?

Hey, no buyout for us to pay, right??? Maybe even make some money out of it.

I'm starting to think that we need a coach for 2 or 3 years who is maybe a less-than-perfect fit, but a dynamic, exciting coach that will get us up and running again, so that the next search be less ludicrous. (This assumes Haslam and Currie are gone, of course,)

I'll have to go brush my teeth and hit the mouthwash after I write this, but Kiffin might be the ticket. Swoop in, stir things up, coach these poor players, get the fan base excited, and then swoop right on out again. Just not in January, please.

brb, gotta go brush

Our Athletic Department is as corrupt as Pilot Flying J. Maybe they will offer fan rebates for the sh***y hire.

At some point kiffin will be kicking ass and taking names in the SEC. I prefer to be on the side doing the kicking.

As an OC maybe but not an HC. Nobody wants to sleep with the NCAA. Never buy trouble before it goes on sale youngen.

Just curious. Were you gung ho for Broehm coming from Purdue after 1 year with his dream job next door at Louisville. If that answer is yes, your statement has zero credibility.

**** Lane Kiffin and the horse he rode in on.

Plus, no Layla. That alone is a deal killer. :)

While I won’t get on the Lane Train yet I can see a lot of coaching positives why it makes sense. And I do believe he would take it.

So supposedly the deal killer in Brohm was the buyout. Well that isn’t an issue here then. And the overall money package is lower up front even paying for good assistant money.

Financially it is a no brainer. Which is supposed to have been the reason thus far. And yeah I do think somebody will go after him after Saturday. I would bet on Arky.

Get off the Lane train UT folk. Attention junkie that loves Twitter. Offensive coordinator at best. He was primed to compete at USC and couldn’t hack it in the PAC 12. What makes you think he would do well in the SEC? Y’all Lane supporters are victims of the moment, I’m sorry.
