Finals thread.

There is no need to be all butthurt about it. Miami has a flawed team and a cardboard cutout for a coach. Wade is close to done. Bosh is soft. In two years LeBron is going to be almost as alone as he was in Cleveland.

I think it would be awesome if Cleveland got a good player in this draft, win another title with the Heat, and go play with Cleveland after four years with the Heat (where he can opt out) and win a title with them.

The thing is, they are different players. They just are. I know that's the comparison, cause Jordan is GOAT, but there is room for "Jordan's utter greatness" AND "LeBron's utter greatness" for me, at least.

i've always found it weird that the abbreviated term people choose to use for greatest of all time is the same word for a player responsible for a loss (often as a result of a choke/mistake)

There's nobody like him who has figured out the ability to combine his scoring skills and passing skills. He could go Kobe and average 35 per game if he wanted.

He could be the best at 4 positions if he wanted.

He's not on Jordan's level yet, but since he has the whole package, could get there and possibly even pass him.

Still trying to figure out why what the Celtics did was fine, but Miami was so horribly wrong.

LeBron and Bosh signed as free agents, so they're selfish. KG and Ray Allen having their agents work furiously behind the scenes doesn't count, because that's invisible. Their superteam just fell out of a rainbow organically.

There is no question LeBron handled it as horribly as it could possibly be handled. But it's dumb to act like KG and Ray Allen and Paul Pierce were just pawns on a chessboard that happened to be stuck together out of the air.

Especially since both guys had, you know, the ability to block the trade.

One of my good friends is from Cleveland and I can honestly say that the only guy they might hate worse than LeBron at this point is Art Modell.

They'd take him back in a second though.

People forget, he's only 27. He can have four by the time he's 30.

I agree about the coaching, but I just don't see why everybody thinks Wade is washed up already. He's only 30, and I really think after he has the summer to rest up whatever it is that's been ailing him throughout the playoffs, he'll be right up there as one of the elite players in the league next year.

Especially if that team was one more star away from being title contenders.

I'll admit it. Thet main reason I can't stand Lebron is how he left Cleveland. I don't think there is one athlete in the world that deserves the attention that the "decision" got. I though it was completely immature and disrespectful. .... even if it was Cleveland.

That being said, I don't see how adding Wade and Bosh.. two of the top 15 players in the league to the same team is even worth celebrating.

Call me old school, but like MJ said, I wanted to beat the best, not join them.

I'm going to bed. The rest of you need to get a job!

And issues with his kids.

Not much worse than that.

Now that the Heat have won the title, where does that 45/15/6 rank from LeBron rank all time? I think top five.

It'd be neat/a nice thing to see, but there'd have to be a h-ll of a PR show he'd have to put on with that city though

Bosh is a top 15 player? That's news to me.
