Finals thread.

1) They didn't beat the **** out of OKC until today. All of the other games were decided by one possession.

2) I'm not convinced the Heat will get Nash

3) The Thunder will only get better after this year. We are full of young, inexperienced, but UNBELIEVABLE talent. Even if Harden leaves, we will find a perfect replacement for him.

4) The Championship will go through OKC the next 5-7 years. Whether you or any of the Bron lovers like it or not

I hope you're right. Unlike Miami, the Thunder are an extremely likeable team. They've been built from the ground up by an excellent GM, so I actually agree with you about a replacement for Harden if they have to find one. Still, this was probably the weakest the Heat will ever be for the better part of the next decade, so I'd be willing to bet they'll continue to be the bridesmaid for the next 3 years until Durant and Westbrook bolt after their contracts expire. Much like LeBron, they probably won't be willing to spend their entire careers wasting away in a small market and never winning a title.

The championship will go through Miami, I think you mean. Now, OKC may GET through Miami at some point. But c'mon.

And, just who the hell are you replacing Harden with?

Depends on where he wants to go. It;s a pipe dream for him anyway. More than likely he's stillin OKC next year

There's a good chance they'll be back in the Finals next year, so I doubt it was their ONLY chance. It probably was their BEST chance though, and the couldn't get it done.

No it wasn't. Wade will keep getting older and lose his health while Durant/Westbrook/Harden/Ibaka aren't even in their primes yet. That's only their four best players.

Can we just stop *****ing, and appreciate that we are watching of the ten greatest players win his first ring and his in his prime?

You can worship the Easten All Star team if you'd like but if you don't like openly discussing the future of the NBA you can go to the football forum and discuss how terrible Dooley is if you'd like

Weird, since the Celtics have more all stars than the Heat.

The thing is, they are different players. They just are. I know that's the comparison, cause Jordan is GOAT, but there is room for "Jordan's utter greatness" AND "LeBron's utter greatness" for me, at least.

I agree. I said in another thread that LeBron is more like Magic or even Oscar, with his game.

And we aren't talking about the future. We are still rehashing old **** about LeBron.

Maybe you can go start you a thread about whatever you said and let us drink and be merry, home skillet.

Wade has plenty of good years left in him. He's only 30. Also, if the Heat add an actual PG (especially if it's Steve Nash) its frightening how good they might be if they are healthy.

Still trying to figure out why what the Celtics did was fine, but Miami was so horribly wrong.

Wade is at the tail end of his prime and a lot of injuries on him.

Is he in line for the Heat job? Because that's probably the only team that's going to be winning a title anytime in the forseeable future.

There is no need to be all butthurt about it. Miami has a flawed team and a cardboard cutout for a coach. Wade is close to done. Bosh is soft. In two years LeBron is going to be almost as alone as he was in Cleveland.

It's hard to compare him to anybody really since there's never been a player like him before

There's nobody like him who has figured out the ability to combine his scoring skills and passing skills. He could go Kobe and average 35 per game if he wanted.
