Finals thread.

Absolutely. But he has put enormous pressure upon himself with the infamous soundbite "not 2, not 3," etc.

Obviously that, but I was talking more about being drafted out of high school. Remember, he was the next Jordan.

This also needs to be mentioned. Everyone forgets this, but THE HEAT WEREN"T SUPPOSED TO WIN! The Thunder were the favorite.

To be fair Chalmers, Battier, and Miller played out of their mind all series. No one could see that coming. If they played their typical games, this series is still going on.

They played great...but who got them so many good looks?

LeBron. That's the beauty of his game.

Agree. I was a huge, huge LeBron fan before the Decision, and I couldn't defend it. I'm still a big fan of us though.

But look. He apologized, manned up to it, and moved on. That's what you do when you screw up.

Also, I can forgive someone for having a dumb 24 hours with the incredible amount of pressure he's faced since he was 16, and handle it as gracefully as LeBron has.

24 hours? There were weeks and weeks of buildup in which he could have screwed his head on straight and not handled the whole thing that way. Also, he flat out QUIT on the Cavs in his last game against Boston. I'll never believe that he didn't already have his mind made up, yet he still chose to turn it into a monthlong spectacle.

Give a DAMN about Vegas. Wade and Bosh are better than Westbrook and Ibaks and Harden. Did you even watch the Finals?????

No...they aren't. At best...it's even. I would rather have Ibaka, Harden, and Westbrook over Wade and Bosh all day every day and twice on Sundays

So if LeBron's teammates played like absolute hell, the team wouldn't have played as well as a whole. But they didn't. So the team played well. Brilliance.

OKC were the overwhelming favorites coming into this series. Not Vegas, everybody. They looked unstoppable. Hard to believe that everybody has already forgotten that.

Age at first Finals MVP:

Jordan: 28
Kobe: 30
LeBron: 27

That's on Scott Brooks some too. Might be the worse defensive game plan in a finals game I've ever seen. Team shoots 80% from 3 and you still double down in the post. Smh

Yeah, it was a bad decision. People make mistakes. Get over it.

And he didn't. He just played bad. Did Kobe quit in Game 7 of 2010 when he went 6-24? No, Pau Gasol bailed his ass out. LeBron went 8-23 for that game. He just played bad.

And that's your opinion. I highly doubt it was that easy.

He had no choice. LeBron would have crushed them.

Quite simply, nobody could stop LeBron.

Says the guy who has never even approached that situation.

If they don't double down on LeBron, he abuses whatever poor soul is down there and scores.
