Finals thread.

Great game. I expect the whole series to be tight like this, OKC probably gets one in Miami and comes home down 3-2. JMO.

Anybody else see that stat they just showed on ESPN?

LeBron when trailing in series this postseason.

Finals game 2 - 32 pts
Conf finals game 6 - 45 pts
Conf semis game 4 - 40 points

Not clutch.

/sarcasm

Btw everyone saying a sweep was possible, that Wade is washed up, and that the Heat are a fundamentally flawed team that needs a PG/C/Michael Jordan, can we cool it on the hyperbole? Thanks.

Still need MJ, imo

No. You deemed game when there was plenty of clock left and if it wasn't for a pathetic display of officiating the people of OKC might be in the middle of free basketball.

Ball don't lie guy. Durant got away with a charge about 3 plays before that. That evens out and I would say that regardless of the outcome of this game. Lebron got away with a foul on that play no doubt, but Durant got lucky and should have had his hind end on the pine for the last 2 minutes.

Hard to believe the Thunder were in a position to win the game.

Not really, they're a phenomenal home team and have the ability to go on huge runs even against great defensive teams.

The deficit was about 11 all game long but it felt much closer than that mid way through the 3rd and up until the Thunder made it a two possession game.

I never felt comfortable with the lead, the Thunder and Heat are probably the 2 best teams in the league at rallying.

When you have guys who can cover the length of the floor in 3 or 4 dribbles and can finish like these guys can, huge runs are almost expected to happen.

After that embarrassing 1st quarter, the game was pretty much an even match.

Might be time to think about starting Harden, three games in a row for OKC that they have laid absolute duds in the first quarter.

I don't think you can really start him, they have the right line up to start the game, it's got them to the finals you have to stick with it. If you start him that takes your bench contribution way down.

If you're talking about the Battier blocking call then you need to tune up on the definition of a charge. Durant is in the air and Battier was moving his feet sideways. He is not set or established in the path BEFORE durant is in the air and thus it is a block. That was the right call. Maybe if you watched it in slow motion it'd help you. Besides a missed call never warrants another missed call. Stupid logic. Didn't your mother ever tell you that two wrong don't make a right?

If the names are reversed, Durant is clutch and lebron just missed the shot, while the maybe-foul isn't even discussed.

And, if Durant doesn't have five fouls when that play with Battier happens, it gets called a charge.

It was a helluva game. Cannot wait for Sunday's.

Except by rule it wasn't a charge.

Maybe watching it again would help YOU...it was a charge, he had his position and was clearly in the path of Durant, had Durant not had 5 fould already it would have been a charge bottom line but Durant got lucky, every one of the analysts on TV said it was a charge after the game and during the game, I guess they need to watch it again in slow motion? A missed call never warrants another missed call, ever heard of a make up call? Yeah you get that all the time in sports. Nobody likes that if it goes against your team. Give me a break dude, you call my logic stupid because it doesn't follow your's. I'm sorry I don't follow ignorance.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to have your feet set to draw a charge. I think that's a myth, like the infamous "over the back."

You have to be established in the path before the offensive player takes off. Moving sideways is a great indicator of not being in the path before the offensive player is in the air.
