Dews has some crazy sack numbers! I wonder if he's being recruited for hybrid DE/OLB spot. Thanks for posting this kamoshika :hi:

Such as...? It would be much more helpful if you could provide actual corrections. FWIW, I can cite sources for all of the listed numbers.

Not impressed with Medley as our kicker. Kicker/Punter is an area of concern for the upcoming year.

Looks like some of our DB recruits can contribute on both sides of the ball. :good!:

Palardy wasn't particularly impressive in one of these all star games coming out of high school IIRC. I'll trust the staff's assessment and development of kickers after I've seen what they did for Palardy's development.

I don't like the production from the two running back commits - Hurd and Paulk - I think we should let them go and we should find better skill and talent at running back.

With their stats - it almost looks like they took most of the season off. :)

Wait til he actually kicks in a game before you make an opinion

Weeelllllll, he was 3-6 all season, which is 50 percent. Palardy had better stats than that the whole time he was here. I'll wait and see though, because I don't know the circumstances of the six kicks.

from his coach

"Aaron is a weapon and he changes the game plan for teams in terms of kickoffs. He puts most of his kickoffs through the end zone and makes the other team drive 80 yards," said MCHS coach Aaron Pitts. "Offensively, you know you only have to get to the 30-yard line before you're in field goal range. We didn't try that many field goals this year because of various circumstances, but he definitely has the ability to make them."

Yeah. More to kicking than just the kicker

Mouhon and Gaulden were tackling machines!

Although it doesn't matter in the least, it's funny to look at the 247 skill ratings for both. Mouhon got a 7/10 and Gaulden got an 8/10 for tackling??? With 200+ tackles shouldn't you get a 9 or 10 in tackling?

Thanks for the info.... :hi:

I turned the tv to his game and he was lining up to kick and he missed it wide right I thought to my self not again the last one was rated number 1 in the nation to, so if we miss it this time I say we go after the 100 best kicker in the nation.:eek:lol:

I think Henderson had impressive numbers for a d lineman. 52 tackles with 21 tfl and 14.5 sacks. the 7 passes defended are impressive also.

My understanding is Ray Raulerson is an EE. Truly a quality young man who trained under a great coach. Our Vols should spend more time getting to know the Coach at Plant High in Tampa. He is a character guy who instills values in the guys well before they land in Knoxville. Please Look at Coach's resume. I have no vested interest except being a Former VOL Athlete in Tampa. Coach Weiner is a true treasure and since I now coach at Jesuit, I know Coach is a Man for Others who would greatly enrich the fine and family tradition we create for Tennessee. He builds the best and we will produce outstanding Raw Materials!

I would be curious to see gauldens and vics combined defensive stats versus the rest of the independence high school defense.
