I watched Ohio State vs Michigan and got to see actual top tier college teams play.
Immediately after that game I put on Tennessee vs Vanderbilt.
The difference in quality of players, schemes, tactics, and EXECUTION was so blatantly obvious I wonder how UT sells any tickets at all for the sad show put on by our football team.
I’m all for giving JP time. I want him to succeed not because it’s him... I just want someone... ANYONE to bring our Volunteers back to playing the kind of football I watched in Columbus, OH.
Go Big Orange..!!

That Michigan and Ohio State game wasn’t good college football. Lol
It was for Ohio State. Michigan came in with one of the best defensive records in the nation. They came in ranked #4. Favored to win.
The game wasn’t even as “close “ as the score indicates. Michigan benefited greatly from a single error in the final seconds of the first half that gave them 7, and coach Urban Meyer called off his offense on Michigan’s 3 yd line with over a minute left in the game or the Buckeyes likely would have scored again. At that point, an aggressive coach in a rivalry end of season game woulda gone for 2. Why... because as Coach Woody Hays once said:”they wouldn’t let me go for 3”. The spread could EASILY have been increased by another 14-15 points. If you don’t think that’s great football, you’re probably satisfied with the VOLS.
I’m only providing this much detail about another game to express my opinion of what I believe the goal should be for OUR program.

I enjoyed OU vs. WVU. That was some innovative offensive **** right there. I even took notes for Helton.

I don't consider those 50 to 48 type of games good football. It's entertaining but not good football if only one side of the ball shows up. This is why Bama dominates. They do both.

Yep, I agree with you and do enjoy a good defensive game as well. But dunno, after watching 12 weeks of TN offense ...... it was somewhat refreshing. The bourbon mighta helped a bit.

Our society likes when they throw the bean around a lot. It's why Leach is so popular i guess, that and he's a nut. Would suck here though and that's a fact.
