The heart of a warrior! The amount of effort and fight you poured out for Tennessee basketball was contagious. You never allowed your height and all the opposing jokes that come with it, stop you from raising the ceiling for the type of player you have become. How many other 5-9, 3 star players turned out to be AP All-Americans? Your legacy will live on for a long time and You will be tremendously missed on the court!

ZZ is so appreciative of the chance Barnes took with him. And he did not disappoint. Worked hard to accomplish all he has and to lead this team. Thanks for giving your all, Zakai. Going to miss you.

I don’t even want to imagine watching that first game without you next year. Thanks for your loyalty, your grit, and determination to come back from that ACL even better than before. I wasn’t sure you could but you were better than ever. You didn’t lose a step. Just an incredible player and VFL!

I know that he is not going to drafted but I sure hope he can get some play in the G league or in Europe.
