Final Thoughts and (real) predictions for tenn-osu

no, it's really not. it will be key for both teams to figure out how the refs are going to call the game early on, and adjust accordingly. If it's loose, that's a big advantage for them....the tigher they call it, the better.

but i can't see them doing so, with Oden having such and advantage with his size. I'm going in expecting it to be called fairly loose underneath.

turnovers and perimiter shooting......
pressing teams do not want tight officiating, ever.

I'm amazed that 95% of you actually predict a Vol win. Just because you don't think you will win does not make you any less of a Tennessee fan. And yall call me delusional.

UT 68
OSU 58

This game will be like no other this season.

Who has the most to loose?

Who will have the most pressure on them?

Who will handle the ball the most whin OSU has the ball?

I think the answer is clear OSU gaurds will have a lots of problems handling the pressure and getting it inside as well.

I've yet to find anything that points to the Vols having no chance tonight.
I don't hear anyone trying to say that there's no chance, but there's a point where reality has to become an issue. I think the thread earlier in the week about if there were real money on the line, how would you bet. That probably best summed up the actual beliefs of the VN: we'll win, unless I'm betting more than $10.

Now that I'm done with reality, Vols win by 15.

I was trying to direct that towards our friend TuskALoosa who claimed we were delusional for predicting a UT victory. Perhaps it's not likely, but I don't think it'd be one of the greater upsets of the 21st century if the Vols were to come away with the win.

My thoughts....

Are we better than this team, no.

Ohio State must not look at UT as a team just trying to pull an upset. They better not get the idea the players are satisfied just being there. If they do, UT will hammer them back to Columbus. OSU must look at UT as a team that seriously thinks it can make a run in the tourney.

On the other hand, UT must know that OSU isn't going to play as poorly as they did against Xavier. UT will need an outstanding game to pull this one out.

I think OSU by 10.

Agreed. I'm still laughing at that Gamecock who used the :lolabove: smiley when we told him we thought we could make it past the first round in the tourney.
