Just for informational purposes, oddsmakers have OSU favored by somewhere between 4 and 5 points.

A major prediction I will make is that, win or lose, you guys will be on here tomorrow complaining about the officiating. They are going to let the guys underneath bang away and that is an advantage to Oden. Be prepared to think he's getting away with murder.

They allow physical play in the tournament, so I wouldn't be suprised if he abuses us the same way Big Baby did....but it's hard to imagine the refs rewarding him too much after his comments over the weekend.

The big one's usually do. It's just part of the game.

This game seems pretty straightforward. If UT shoots the three well for most of the game, it'll open everything else up. We'll be able to press, we'll get transition baskets, we'll be able to run them all game and wear them out. I like our chances in that situation. If we go cold for long stretches of the game like we did against Virginia, we're in trouble. Oh, and I don't think we'll win if we leave 10-12 points' worth of free throws out there either.

If they play this game ten times, I think OSU wins six of them. However, they only play it once, so I'll say that the three falls pretty well tonight.

UT 68
OSU 62

Yep, I guarantee that I'll be upset/will complain if the Noah and Horford lowered-shoulders used to move defenders out of the way under the basket aren't called.

OSU has the better team on paper- but I think our boys want it more.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog!

Vols: 81
Bucks: 78

One thing is for sure -- Bruce's boys are going to leave it on the court tonight.

KEYS TO OUR SUCCESS:
Go at Oden early and pick up a few fouls
Knock down some big 3's
Make the freebies
Create turnovers

Us 71
Them 67

If it's a close game, we win, otherwise, i think OSU could blow us out.

but, i'll say TN 73, OSU 69.

Go Vols.

If Oden is lowering his shoulders, expect the ball to be stripped from behind. That boy'd better go straight up or the ball is ours.

Its not going to the basekt with the ball. Its rebounding. Oden will be able to assert himself as much as he wants to underneath. As long as he doesn't commit a player control foul, they are going to let him dominate. Its just a fact.

Ergo the need for UT to shoot a high percentage from the perimeter. This is not news.

no, it's really not. it will be key for both teams to figure out how the refs are going to call the game early on, and adjust accordingly. If it's loose, that's a big advantage for them....the tigher they call it, the better.

but i can't see them doing so, with Oden having such and advantage with his size. I'm going in expecting it to be called fairly loose underneath.

turnovers and perimiter shooting......

I still think we can score inside as well, if we get the kind of interior passing we enjoyed against your alligators in Knoxville.

I'm so ready to play this and stop talking it....
i'd agree with that so long as we can draw Oden out a little bit. if crews or chism can hit some of those mid range jumpers and crews hit a couple of three's....draw oden out, it will open up the lane for a better matchup inside.......

As for Oden, they showed in the last game that he can infact get away with murder. I'm not expecting that to change tonight, even with the comments he made after the game.

and the good news is we can, we can, do both.......

Pearl was right about one thing, i don't know that there's anything we can really change from the last time we played them..........we did show our hand.

can we do it again, with a little better % from the three, a few more opportunities and makes from the f/t line......?

that's the question.....
