Internet still shows today's game on espnU (2pm), but I imagine they will put it on ESPN since it is the only game left -- all the other WCWS participants have been decided already --- Go Lady Vols! Swing dem bats!

heck of a game yesterday...wouldn't mind a replay...:D

GO LADY VOLS!

Yeah...........if you like 4 hours of yawn softball....and listening to a lot of gator love from the male TV announcer.
Plus, if you like watching a stupid home plate umpire that doesn't know what a strike looks like over the plate.

I think Barnhill will play-- stress fracture, sore foot, hurt finger, exhaustion and all. They've ridden her all postseason, so I'd be surprised if she doesn't start or finish it out. Just depends on how far adrenaline can take her. Walton said she was gassed last night, but this is her last game in Gatorland.

OTOH, the LVs have two fresh, experienced pitchers, and Arnold said she was prepared to pitch as much as we need her.

She’s the only pitcher they have worth 2 cents

Hope the LVs can capitalize. It would take a lot of willpower for Barnhill to pitch a complete game. I'm sure she'd be willing to give it a go, but can she be effective? My guess is they'll have to rely on Hightower a lot and hope she can rise to the occasion. Really hope the LVs can rattle their entire pitching staff, because Walton might throw them in one after the other, hoping one will catch fire.

I figure Ashley Rogers will start today --- hope she is better prepared than on Friday because she is nearly unbeatable when she is on and focused

Yep, she was amazing in the regular series. There's even more pressure today, though, so probably a short leash. Getting ahead early and shutting down Lorenz and Lindaman is key. With temperatures near 100, a long game would be brutal. Wouldn't two Bearden grand slams and a run rule be nice?

I have a feeling they push Barnhill..and she will be hyped up entire game like she's Willis Reed in 1970? Nba Finals. "Oh my gawd...can you believe that Barnhill is taking the mound iwht a hurt finger and ALL she's gone through. This is a spectacular display of intestinal fortitude. Never before have we seen an effort like this...." etc etc etc.

I hope I'm wrong about this.

I honestly think we put Arnold back out there. Plus they put Barnhill. Ashley has had a great season but gets a case of nerves in big games....

All right..........Let's get-R-done Lady Vols. Game is getting cranked up on ESPN.

Ashley Rogers will be the starting pitcher for Tenn. I'm hoping she does really well & be the Boss today.
