Final 4 vs. Win over Florida?

So I was listening to ESPN Radio today and the topic of conversation was that the traditional Football Schools(Fla, Ohio St, Tenn, Texas A&M) just don't care about the NCAA tournament as much as football. Case in point: for Florida's 2nd round game in New Orleans, there were only about 500 FLA fans there even though it was during their spring break and it is not that long of a drive to NO from Gainesville.
So I want to test that theory on this board of knowledgeable sports fans. Would you trade a berth in the Final 4 for a win over Florida or LSU last year? Think about it before you reply...

Yes, but how great would it have been to beat Florida last year?? We wouldn't have had to watch them win a National Championship(even though some may argue it was good for the SEC).

I would rather beat UF than argue that the SEC is good. Saying the SEC was good was simply making the best of what we could of an ugly situation. Plus I hate OSU so it wasn't quite so hard. But Final Four is better than two wins in football.

err... no, I'd take the Final Four.

Since we only get to choose one of the Florida and LSU games to have back, and still would've got steamrolled by Arkansas. Yes, give me a Final Four.

I would take a win over Florida over a new pair of eyes.

Final 4 no doubt, is this a serious question? Even if we were to beat Florida last year we would have still lost our bowl game, and finished 10-3, whats that accomplish that equals to being in the Final 4?

Final Four. They hang banners for that. Not for beating UF or LSU. One win last year means Capital One Bowl (Maybe), because Michigan probably would have ended up in the NC game, and we would have only had 1 SEC school in the BCS (winner of UF vs Ark)

You wouldn't even get me to consider the question until you made it an SEC football championship vs. a Final Four berth, and even then I probably go with the Final Four because we've never done it before.

Well he posed the question with LSU too so I was kind of thinking about that, but I'd probably rather have a FF over an SECC game appearance. You have to do a lot more to get to the FF than to win the SECE

I would take a Final 4 over an SEC Championship Game app. in Football. I would consider taking a SEC Championship in Football over a Final 4 if we had a chance at a National Championship app.
