50/50 on every recruit we have. Alot of high school kids are playing games imo. The whole commiment process is blown way out of proportion until they sign on the dotted line its never 100%.

That's not true. It's not 50/50 every time. Drae Bowles is 100% as are the majority of our current commits.

This is just me, and I know it will never happen, but I would love for Dooley to tell some recruit...."if you pull that bush-league crap of putting on one jersey and then taking it off to reveal another on signing day, consider our offer void, no matter what color jersey you're wearing underneath. If you want to play for UT, be humble and act like athlete that is grateful for the opportunity and not one that feels like the coaches are priviledged to have you - because it's actually the other way around son"

De-recruiting prior to Feb 1st, it's risky fade route, perhaps even slightly crazy, but I almost, sort of, kind of, want to say I like it, maybe.

I wholeheartedly agree! You know without the pessimism you are pretty ok! :good!:

If you were to give me a choice between Kirven and Santos, I would take Kirven and not have to think about it.. I mean no disrespect to Santos, I just think DT is more of a need...

That's too bad. We really could've used Tiny next year.

90% Davis - I think we're in good shape
70% Kirven - Hopefully he forgets this weekend over the next 3 days
50% Leggett
30% Patterson - Just don't feel good about this one

Whatcha got? (especially you, Skeeter :))

I can see that, but I would put mine at.

-95%Legget I really think he liked the visit, and the only reason he is going to Marshall is his grades. I think UT can get him in so depending on what academics told him I like where we stand.
Q. Davis- 85%.
Kirven-65% Hardest one for me to guess on by far. I wanna say we have a slight advantage, based on the fact that his parents were gonna come on there own dime in the middle of the week, but his dad couldn't get off work. I think VT having the last visit is trouble.
Patterson- 25% I'm giving us Ole Miss, Georgia, and LSU equal chances. This kid gives up nothing, even though we have been recruting him the longest I think losing Baggett hurt us. I wanna say it's higher, but I don't have a good feeling with him especially after our history with JUCOs.

Legget - 99%. He wants to be a Vol and the Vols want him in orange. The academics will work itself out. All Vol!

Q. Davis - 99%. No offense to Wake, but this young man is an SEC caliber talent, so he'll be a Vol.

Kirven - 51%. I would have said 80% a few days ago, but it's tough to go against your momma and daddy. We've been burned already this year w/a "home" team beating out UT in the end. I say the parents aren't "anti-UT," so the Vols have a slight lead.

Patterson 40%. Auburn, Ole Miss, Georgia, and LSU split the remaining 60%. So I'd give one of the other 4 teams the slight lead, but I wouldn't be shocked (and I'd be crazy excited) if he ends up a Vol at the end of the day.

Land All 4: 25% chance. It'd be a HUGE day for our Vols, but just don't see it happening.

Lambert: 0% if he signs Wednesday. 25% if he waits until after signing day. He'd be the BOOM surprise!
