The last time that we completed a touchdown pass against these wretched Bulldogs was way way back in 2021. We certainly have to turn that around on Saturday. The last 3 qb's have all had a full game to show for themselves. And not a single touchdown throw. Zip zero.Screenshot_20250911_061411_Chrome.jpg

I think this is our best shot to beat GA in several years! Gotta score some points. I’d say atleast 30 to have a chance. We need to blitz their new qb a lot, keep him off balance and out of rhythm. I’d take a nice sack with a fumble recovery for a td.

This is well said. We need to get into the 30’s to win imo. Definitely would be nice to win the turnover battle. Georgia 2025 isn’t better than Bama 2022. Not saying we have our 22 team but I don’t think Georgia is some juggernaut, especially early in the season. 60 minutes Vols!

Exactly! If we sit in zone and coach scared, we likely won't win.

I expect a completely different Georgia team come saturday than what we have seen the first two weeks. Heup has coach scared every time against georgia and just seems inept for whatever season against them. Kirby is his kryptonite. I hope we can reverse our fortune come saturday but i wouldn’t bet on it.

It will be a different UGA team. Idk if Heupel “coaches scared”. Gene Chizik said this morning on SEC Network Georgia has been able to answer what UT tries to do very well. UGAs D-line has been able to bring pressure and stop the run without using extra personnel. That allows them to take away the deep threat.

It doesn’t help that UGA has had a deeper, more talented roster. Then again, not many people have beat UGA. IIRC correctly they are 55-5 in the Heupel era. Best in CFB. It also doesn’t help that in the last 8 years UGA has a +9 turnover ratio. UT cannot turn over the ball and win.

No one knows for sure what each team has at this point of the season. Georgia looks sluggish passing the ball so far. We have looked pretty good on the ground and through the air. Our DLine is not what we had last year. Our secondary should be better. Georgia has talent everywhere. Gunner will either have a breakout game or struggle. The same can be said for Joey. No one knows. I will say this, Saturday is our best chance for victory in a few years. Whoever wants it more, executes and has less turnovers will likely win. We have a good chance and victory or defeat does not define our season. This is only game 3.

TENNESSEE is NO Marshall or Austin Peay. Not even close. We gonna dominate and you better get used to it. Go Vols!
