Ticketmaster has some $6 and $7 tickets available and no i am SERIOUSLY NOT JOKING.

Pickup some cheap tix, weather will be nice. GO TO THE GAME.

For $6 buy the tickets then YouTube yourself burning them. The ******* AD needs to know the fanbase will not tolerate this craptastic coach

People like this are so silly. You are exactly the type of sheep this administration feeds off. Only a fool would continue to give financial support to an administration that obviously doesn't care about winning.

The only power fans have to make a difference is by withholding your money to force change. If you continue to fill Neyland even when the administration doesn't care about winning then all you do is encourage the current behavior.

Silly people like this are the main reason Tennessee football has been a joke for the last 15 years.

Judging from your other predictions, I now think we should all go to the game and leave our bank account and SSN at the turnstiles.

No doubt the UT decision makers are oblivious to the mountain of criticism of Butch being generated on every possible radio and social media forum, only to see some empty seats and collectively agree that the football team needs a new head coach.

People should do what they want to do. If you want to go to the game, go and have a blast. If you don't want to go, don't. If I already had tickets, I would go but I don't have tickets to this one and I'm not looking for any. If he's retained, which I don't think he will be, I won't get tickets for any games next year but the administration already knows people want a change.

There are people who purchase season tickets. The university sends a set for all home games prior to the first game rather than mail individual tickets directly before each home game.

I know how it works, just making the point that the tickets were already paid for regarless if you attend or not.

For all who have made the decision Not to go... care to part with your parking pass?? Should be plenty of empty spots closer to the stadium now.. The wife and I are going. It was my birthday present this year and I’m not missing the opportunity to see my wife in Orange. Let me know!

Also, we are driving up that morning from west TN so if anyone wants a few more people to join in pregame conversation and socializing let me know.

Go Vols!

They called off Emptyneyland. They won. UT was able to get a story written about a tweet about a rumor regarding negotiating CBJ's buyout.

Now if fans don't go that means they support keeping Butch.

You've gotta keep up.

i gave my tickets away for this weekend. I can't get myself to spend the money for food, lodging, and gas, plus spend 12 hours in the car for the product that's on the field right now. i don't think i'm a "negavol" because ive been very fair with my posts regarding cbj on volnation, but like a lot of ppl on the board, I just can't bring myself to defend the man or be optimistic anymore. the trigger should've been pulled sunday after the loss to kentucky. i guess currie is still in the k-state frame of mind? two coaches since 1989? it's crazy, but i actually think i'm doing the fanbase/team a favor by not going to the game as well. i can't believe that i've developed this frame of mind, but apparently the only way currie makes a change is if he sees the empty seats, and a lesser revenue brought in at the gate. wins and losses are not affecting currie and cbj was able to convince currie to keep him around. i'm sorry op, but i believe in the other end of the spectrum right now. currie needs to see that cbj being at the helm will affect the purse.

Admit it, it's the TWELVE HOURS IN THE CAR that's holding you back.

The rest of your argument has little relevance.

My two cents, if you're a true fan, you go and support the players despite any feelings towards the staff. The players deserve our support regardless of how you feel. I'm a VFL and that means I love my Vols through good and bad. It doesn't mean I'm going cry and stomp my feet when things don't go my way. Am I pissed off that we're not winning? Dang skippy I am but not supporting my team is like not standing for the anthem in my book.
