FILL IN THE BLANK: Our Program is Moving in the Direction of ______________

Thanks all the same.. but if we are paying someone to lose, im sure we would all rather keep dooley. He is at least a very likable guy and represents us well in public and the media.

You on the other hand.. well lets just say LIKE is not the four letter word anyone associates with you..

Underlined is debatable. I do not find him very likable, but then again I have always had a strong distaste for incompetence.

If you are gauging it on the "At least he hasnt wrecked a car on Tooles Bend or crashed a motorcycle drunk with a co-ed" then I guess you are right about representing us well in public. Me, I would rather have wins, at least some, against any real team.

We just had Gameday in town for the first time in 8 years and had the most electric atmosphere we have had in years.

Perspective is required in life at times.

And got blown out.

Let's not forget that we were 2nd fiddle, if Arkansas doesn't wet the bed it would never have happened.

Perspective works both ways.

I wish we were going in the direction of ulmonroe. They are freaking whipping Baylor right now, already beat Arkansas, and almost beat Auburn. Hell, ulmonroe has a signature win in the sec and we don't! Wtf!!!!

Let's trade Dooley for ulmonroe's coach!

Ulmonroe is now running an offense with two quarterbacks on the field. Baylor is clueless. Genius!

College football runs in cycles. Historic programs never stay down.

That isn't always true. Minnesota used to be a powerhouse up until the late 1960's. They've never been the program they once were. They used to compete for national championships and Big Ten titles. However, they haven't won a national title since 1960, and haven't won a Big Ten title since 1967.

Never gonna happen!

Why not? I bet if Hart makes Jon Gruden the highest paid coach in all of college football, he will come. He is itching to coach again; in fact, the man loves the University of Tennessee. Hart and the donors are gonna throw a lot of money his way.
Plus we have a lot of money.

Well Minnesota is a pro town. Much like Miami, I wouldn't be surprised if Miami never gets back on its feet. Tennessee is a different type of historic program than Miami, and especially Minnesota since in the 1960's college football wasnt anything close to what it is now, and really started to pick up in the 80's and 90's.

Miami will get back on top, but maybe not for a while. Anyways, the point still remains. A program can fall off, and can never recover. Do I think it will happen to Tennessee? No.

We just need to make sure that we keep our alumni and our donor base happy. That will be the real key to our success.

We are making strides towards rebuilding, and it takes time. The season is still young just relax, and let it play out.
